Best chip shop for miles, I pass 2 chip shops from my home to get here and wouldnt eat from anywhere else. A bit pricy but food is definitely worth the few extra pennies you spend and they offer meal deals and a lunch time cod and chips

It depends what are you looking for. Food was good, service was good, atmosphere old-school. For my taste it was a little bit to much of vinegar, but in total I was satisfied. Tried fish and chips, kebab, fried chicken.

I’ve eaten here for the first time.I really like fish & chips but I’m always careful as I have had very bad experiences with other restaurants that sell fish & chips in the past.I’ve decided to give it a try, no regrets at all.I can’t say it’s the best fish & chips I ever had, but it was very good. The portion of chips it was quite big to the point I had to ask for a take away box to bring half of them home. The fish was fresh and tasty, the only downside it was the batter not being very crispy, anyway I ate it all and enjoyed it.The chips tasted nice, they clearly homemade, they were crispy and hot.The service was very fast and the staff friendly.I’ve paid £13.50 for a medium size cod and chips, it’s not the cheapest but we can’t expect to have fresh tasty fish and fresh chips, big portions for less than that.I’ve paid way more for worse food.I’ll certainly be back!

We asked for fresh fish and chip, and it was cold, and they charged us for sauces, even when u eating in. Also, I saw a big fat rat in the shop running around it made me ? ? and mice dropping be careful where u eat!! People. They charge you for sauces when u eat in. 60p for sauces that are behind the counter. Not the onces that are on dispaly on the front counter which are name brand heinze. They not even the onces on display. The Son doesn't charge you for sauces when u eat in, but his dad does. We didn't say the food was expensive, we was complaining about the sauces he was charging us for eating in. Sauces should be free if u eat in as the Son charges us nothing for it as we eat in. Not forgetting complaining about the fat rat and mice droppings we saw. Please be careful where u eat people.

I told Rita and Dan ? (Sorry if its the wrong name) that ill write a review after ordering a mixed kebab with chips. The food is plentiful of choice and the seating area is clean, not too loud and capable of accommodating a group. What i must say is that what brings the food to life is the hospitality. I ate their on my own and the lovely rita described to me how her family support different football teams such as arsenal, crystal palace and liverpool.Dan is also a fresh of breath air and allowed me to pay after i ate which shows courtesy.Go there alone or with a friend but i must stress the point you wont feel lonely.Theres also a tv for you to keep occupied. And plenty of drink choices. Thanks for making a hungry fella’s lunch and Saturday a joy.
