A modern pub located on the banks of the canal. The nighttime atmosphere on the water's edge and with beautiful lighting makes the hours go by quickly.

Nice beer selection, and very nice location with a great terrace looking onto the canal. Food is tasty, but overpriced for what you get.

Lovely outdoor space by the canal, good food, and great service.

The pub quiz is a lot of fun and the staff are fantastic. Great

We stopped here for dinner on our way home from a busy day and enjoyed our time. The food and drinks were good. No complaints.

After some time without visiting I came today for a Sunday roast and was bit disappointed. I entered an empty pub with very high prices.. A Sunday roast is now over £20 and a pint of lager is over £7.The quality of food was ok, but the Sunday roast shrank to a single piece of beef and few vegetables.I understand everything is going up, but today it seemed excessive and similar pubs in the area have more reasonable prices.

We came on a Friday night to get a dinner. Pleasant and cosy atmosphere with friendly service. The venue wasn’t that loud and one could easily have a conversation. Food was good, but I wouldn’t say exceptional. We’ll come again!

The hallmark of the Union Tavern has to be its location on the Grand Union canal. Should be a good spot in Summer. They also have ‘visiting’ beers. I managed to get a tasty wheat beer. Otherwise good pub grub.

Amazing service and food was great. Well done, it’s so simple to get things right and these guys just do in spades. Great position on side of canal oh and the beer was great

Great craft beer selection, friendly staff, and a lovely view of the canal!Went back recently (same great service and atmosphere) and a member of our party was very impressed to see gluten free beer on tap!

Good range of craft beer, although the string stuff is pretty pricey. Nice vibe inside and out, in a paved area by the canal.

We arrived and waited in vain at the table for 20 minutes. Nobody came. We went to the counter and ordered. We specified that we didn't like garlic and onion. They made us pay upfront and before giving us anything. It has never happened to me to go to a pub and pay in advance... After waiting in vain at the table without anyone coming to ask... Finally, after half an hour of having paid in advance, the completely wrong food arrives. I'm wrong, it doesn't matter... You've already paid anyway, so I'll steal from you easily. Don't go there because you will be robbed and you won't get what you expect. Plus you will feel treated as if you were worthless people... Terrible place, terrible people awful ‘service’

Food was fairly average but did the job and to be fair, I’d eat there again, but it wouldnt be my first choice if you know what I mean.Great little spot next to the canal for a cheeky lunch beer or after work bev though. They also have Guinness extra cold which is always a winner

I used to love this place but had a horrible experience with moody staff so won't be going there anymore. I prefer places with friendly staff who you can chat to and understand customer service.
