All other Ottolenghi restaurants are better than this one, with more veggie / vegan options and better service. Service here is disinterested and borderline rude; after asking to explain the menu, the dishes weren't explained, and after my vegan girlfriend asked for hummus with bread, was told hummus is only served with pork. One of the cheapest ingredients in the whole restaurant and you can't accommodate a small change? That says it all. Some dishes were lukewarm rather than hot, and carrots arrived cold, which ruined the flavour. £161 bill and we all remained hungry. We won't return to NOPI.

The vegetable dishes were outstanding, but the meat and fish not as good. The staff, especially our waiter, was aloof and not welcoming. The atmosphere and vibe did not align with the brand, it was pretentious. For the price point the customer care should be much better. Shame. Food good but wouldn’t go back.

Simply fabulous. Great balance to the spices and big flavour hits. We are not vegetarian, but this is how to deliver vegetable dishes. The meat dishes too are excellent. Such skills to put together the combinations. Highly recommended

After trying to get a table for 6 months, I managed to secure a table for our team Christmas lunch - it was explained to us on arrival that the dishes would come out separately as it was 'tapas style'. The first dishes came out after 40 minutes, with an additional 30/40 minutes for the mains. We asked several times how long the food was going to be and we were told the delay was because there was not enough space on the table (!) - the reason being the empty plates had not be cleared! The manager was made aware of the poor/delayed service and not once did we receive an apology, even when we asked for the service to be taken off. Very disappointed with the whole experience - do not recommend!

An outstanding pre theatre dinner, thank you. Brilliant service & first class food. All vegetarian sharing plates & nibbles to start. Thank you team, will be back.

I’m a great fan of Ottolenghi and cook his recipes all the time so it was a sure fire choice restaurant for our annual London w/e away. Lovely food, but the star of the show was our waiter Panagiotis. He managed to be hugely attentive without being overbearing. He sensed that we were getting a bit restless, as some of our main dishes hadn’t arrived, and came straight over with a free extra course. He kept our wine topped up but not in the ‘we want you to buy more wine’ way. Very impressive. I also like that Nopi have not sent me an email asking, ‘How did we do’. Thank the Lord

This is an Ottolenghi restaurant and does not disappoint. We had several small plates to share: a celeriac dish, burrata with plums and toasted coriander seeds, roasted maple glazed carrots with ricotta and then shared a main of aubergine. Everything was outstanding. Service was friendly but it is a popular/very busy place and you are allotted a time frame of one hour and 15 minutes, so no lingering and they did semi rush us out the door. Would return for the very tasty food.

We are big fans of Yotam Ottolenghi and his cookbooks, and we booked a table for dinner at NOPI as soon as our travel plans to London were confirmed. We had an exceptional meal at NOPI. Everything was fantastic (standouts for us were the savory cheesecake with beet and honey, the char siu cauliflower, and one of the best desserts we’ve ever eaten, the caramelized kataifi with pistachios and mastiha ice cream – so interesting and delicious.) One of us especially loved being able to eat a wide variety of dishes without having to spend the hours in the kitchen it would take to create all this. The cocktails and recommended wine were fabulous. Service was terrific, and the ambiance was relaxed and buzzy without being overly loud (we sat upstairs at an individual table versus at a communal table downstairs.) We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Always a pleasure to be back. Booked quite late so I only got a seat at the bar, which turned out to be a great experience as well. Char siu cauliflower, lemongrass, cucumber is highly recommended. And the Shawarma lamb rump, freekeh, toum, sumac anion was fabulous. Loved the Honey Negroni. To be repeated. Kudos to Louis for a attentive service and excellent wine recommendation.

Visited Warwick St Nopi. Was really looking forward to the food as good reviews from friends and love OL food. The reception greeting was welcoming. I asked to extend my table time as the person I was having lunch with I had not seen for over 30 years. They were very accommodating. Sadly everything then went down hill at the table. We ordered 2 glasses of wine, not sure why they were £15 a glass as nothing special and recommended by the waiter. Pork belly which was cold and sauce congealed. Whilst tasty I had to ask if the item should be served warm. I was advised it should be warm and they were kind enough to change.. Sole(fish) was good as was the celeriac. The mandarin sorbet was served watery in a glass topped with salt. Too salty to eat and at for £8.50 for a small scoop which was poorly executed, is criminal. The coffee was OK just- Not the best.We were then pushed to pay by staff asking if they can bring the card reader. I tried to ignore the bad vibe as was desperate not to let it spoil a special day. Bill £132 for a very disappointing meal. Will stick to the cook book and try somewhere else.

This is Ottoleghni’s Soho restaurant with an ever-changing Mediterranean influenced menu. We really enjoyed this meal, it was not outrageously priced and was so yummy that I would absolutely return. The charred pumpkin and Masala trout were standouts. Reservations are pretty much required.

Three of us went to Nopi on 16 Nov 23. We arrived early for our booking but this was handled well by the receptionist and we soon had the corner of one of those large sharing tables downstairs. From the start we had good and attentive service from Satpreet who soon brought our aperitifs. I thought my Cocchi Americano was delicious - the others both enjoyed their Balsazar Rose. For wine we chose the house white for £33 which was probably worth £8 but good enough. My main was the seared ox tongue which was tender and tasty - perfectly cooked. Our side dishes of celeriac, carrots and aubergine were all well flavoured and delicious. Unusually we tucked into the puds and enjoyed the coconut tapioca, knafeh and a serious chocolate ganache. We would have liked some bread, but it was not offered and did not appear on the menu. This was my first visit to Nopi and it was excellent. I was delighted that pomegranate was not added to everything, which YO is famous for! The service was first class and the bill came to over £200 without trying, which seemed a lot for some small plates, but we were up from Cardiff and perhaps live a sheltered life!?!

I've wanted to visit Nopi for years, and couldn't wait to finally get there for a Saturday lunch celebrating my birthday with my husband and two friends. We were ready to settle in and have a relaxed foodie/boozy afternoon, but sadly it just didn't live up to expectations. The food was really nice - a couple of things were excellent (cauliflower, sea bass, celeriac) - but for the price tag I'd hoped for more 'Ottolenghi'! We were seated promptly, by the front door - it was a very busy Saturday service. The waiting team were friendly enough, but after seating us just disappeared. They returned some time later and asked 'do you know what you want yet?' which isn't quite the warm welcome I'd expected. We ordered drinks - they subsequently arrived after half our dishes had already been delivered and part eaten - and we generally felt fairly rushed, not 'looked after' by any stretch. I would have liked to order a bottle of wine with food but frankly there wasn't time! It was hugely expensive and I've had warmer, more professional service at my local tapas in Bucks. I won't go back. I know others would be okay with this sort of experience, but it was a long awaited trip for me, and therefore a bit of a let down.

It’s a 3.5. A wonderful restaurant but a step down from when we were here a few years ago. The staff were friendly but less polished. The dishes were good but erratic. The aubergine with and pumpkin veg starters were fantastic as was the cauliflower, but carrots and chicken were fair. The aubergine chreimeh was bland. The polenta component was good but it was room temperature despite the cast iron skillet and the dish had minimal flavor. The Horse’s Neck and Negroni stole the show.

Yotam Ottolenghi is a very creative and imaginative chef, but without any of the gimmicks that others might resort to. My wife is a big fan and she has all of his books so we went there as her birthday treat. I had the aubergine main course which was so tasty - every mouthful a flavour adventure. My wife and daughter shared a whole lot of small plates, which works well if you want variety, and they enjoyed every singe one. We had the key lime pie for dessert - very good and very different to any other key lime pie I've ever had. I preferred this one - less sweet and more imaginative but perhaps not what you might expect. I think that the key here is that this restaurant reinvents dishes and improves them in ways that are clever, healthy and bursting with flavour. For the more adventurous diner, this is the right place to be.
