Lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Our server (blonde woman) was lovely and helpful with recommending dishes.

Our visit yesterday was so nice! Me and my 11 year old daughter were visiting the theatre and had 45mins to eat... the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Particularly the gentleman that served us. It was a pleasure. Thank you Dean Street !

Would not recommend this particular branch of Pizza express, it was busy but staff didn’t really seem to care much, waited by the door to be seated for a while and servers walked past us without even a smile or any acknowledgment. The food was okay our server was nice but they did seat us by the bins which other servers threw glass bottles in creating constant bangs throughout the evening. Wouldn’t return or recommend, I prefer my local branch.

We didn't book and strived just before the mad rush which meant we thankfully got a table.Restaurant was very busy and believe there wasn't enough table staff but we weren't in any hurry so it didn't bother us and didn't feel like we needed to eat up so they could get the table for the next in line.My son had his birthday and they kindly made his kids icecream extra special which he loved.Food was tasty and the kids menu was great.Vegetarian options: Veggie options clearly indicated on menuDietary restrictions: Offer gluten freeKid-friendliness: Great kids menu with plenty of selection

They had a some tables for 4 available (at least 3 available consisting in 2 tables put together) and refused to split them to accomodate 2. Not line, not busy.Lost 2 forever, earn a bad review, way to go.Just went in front to Pilgrims Pizza and had a great time

Popular destination, as such quite lucky to get a walk-in for one. Busy (Tuesday early evening) with service seemingly good for others, but my pizza took a long time to come (two other tables got their orders ahead of mine). The pizza itself ("Burnt Ends") was ok, but I wouldn't get it again: far too much BBQ sauce, very little meat, especially considering the price of it. It was a good size though and I was provided with a box to allow me to take home what I couldn't finish.Worth getting the Pizza Express app as it allows you to pay your bill at the table, which is a time saver. Also, you can get deals via it, which helps offset the overall cost.Overall, I won't go again: service was slow and far too expensive for what it is, there are better options for that price range.

Very nice food and ambiance. We did not have the feeling it was part of a bigger chain. Nice staff and excellent pizza.

I came a few weeks back for the first time for a London Jazz Festival event and I had a brilliant experience. I liked the cozy vibe downstairs and the performance was great, then when I decided to move upstairs, I found the service fantastic there (thanks Angel for looking after me!)

It's a Pizza Express, so expect that level of food, but downstairs they have a decent jazz club. It is great to get reasonably priced food and catch some good music. In our case we saw Pangaea, a great young band. Nice atmosphere to this place, decent sound, and service.Entry was free! It is with keeping an eye on this place as seeing some great music for the price of your food and drink is a fabulous way to have lunch.

Our first time to this Jazz club underneath Pizza Express. Arek our waiter was perfect, looked after us well and got everything efficiently with a smile. I've always loved the classics on Pizza Express' menu but tried the more barbecue oriented burnt-ends grilled beef pizza. Went well with Picpoul wine. The music room is a perfect size and tables are sufficiently spaced. Nigel Price Organ Trio was on great form - "Oh God" - in a good way.

Food was mediocre but the staff was nice and the place is cozy. Four of us ate for 60£ so the prices are

Stumbled upon the venue one evening during the Soho Jazz Festival. Despite being sold out, our wonderful server Richard made sure we could still get a seat for the show (Basil Hodge Quartet). Music was incredible, such a lovely atmosphere/venue. We didn’t order food but loved the Peach flavoured cocktails. Show lasted ~2.5 hours, simply epic, exciting jazz! We had such a great experience, we returned for a second show during our lunch hour this afternoon (Maria Grapsa). Another excellent show, such talented musicians (and fabulous drinks + service again). Definitely would recommend checking this place out! See their website for upcoming gigs (and book in advance!)
