(I'm a snob?)Beautiful little tourist trap in the middle of the attractions for visitors.The staff is mildly knowledgeable but very courteous.Usually overcrowded and if you know what you want you can probably find it online with less hastle.Worth going in for tastings if they are offering anything and want to smell some teas.

Their teas and products are lovely. I gave them a rating of 2 for their poor customer service. After placing a large international order for teas and a beautiful tea pot they shipped everything inadequately. So the teapot of course came broken. Rather than address the issue they just refunded the money rather than replace the inadequately packed teapot. Quite disappointing and just idiotic the way the teapot is packaged.

My partner was overcharged at this Whittard. She raised the issue with the cashier when paying, who told her that the price displayed in the shop was wrong. The cashier then removed the price tags from the shop. When she got home, she realised the receipt (which she received via email after leaving the shop) contained an additional item which was the same price as the overcharge amount. She called this Whittard and explained the situation. She was told to go to any Whittard shop in London to get a refund. We went to another shop and they denied our request.Very disappointed that Whittard allows this kind of scam in their shops.

Yesterday, I meant to buy an item to prepare Matchatea. On the sign it said, 10 pound. When I wanted to pay, they told me, oh the price has just changed... Now it's 12 pounds. As I pointed out that it says ten pound, another employee just took away the sign stating 10 pound and told me no, it's 12 pound, now. I said that's not OK. They told me you have to pay 12 pound, the price just changed! Apart of me feeling scammed, they were also incredible rude about it. As I am close by everyday I bought all my tea and coffee there. Not anymore!
