“I organised a 50 year Reunion for a group of ex UCH nurses as back in the 1970’s the Spaghetti House was a favourite place for us all to eat. The staff could not have been more helpful. They were kind, good humoured and well organised. Big thanks to Maria and Renato two stars. We had the room on the 4th floor and on a sunny afternoon had the windows open.
We ate from the set menu and the baked prawn starter and salmon with lentils were favourites. Deserts all lovely. Unfortunately I was disappointed with my escalope and potato dish a bit dry and boring.”

“They have all the French classics. The escargot is served properly in the shell, but the seasoning is a little weak. After that, I had onion soup, but the seasoning was a little weak. The pepper sauce on the stake frites was a good match.”
