The lobster dumplings, chefs kiss. I love this place better than Hakka even though they’re the same thing? But it always depends on the chef. Thank you Yautcha, I’ll definitely be back again. The lychee cocktail hits different every time.

When I visited Yauatcha first time in 2005 I was amazed. The popularity of the Asian cuisine around the world and the opportunity to try many others throughout those years left me skeptical to try it again. After all, I already had such a superb memory of the place and going again was more of a risk to shatter that rather than build up on it. Yesterday, I went with my friends and enjoyed the food again. I didn’t have the same amount of amazement, but I applaud the continuous quality they kept up during all these years. The only thing to note is the egg fried rice, which was bland. Anything else, feel free to dive in!

Had no idea that the icon next to certain items on the menu meant it was a signature dish... look out for these. All good save for noodles where I prefer their Singapore ones. A little unimpressed that the mains came out one at a time - what's that about? We wanted to share mains. The chairs and table are very low (I suspect this ensures quick table turnover) but the restaurant was buzzing - the desserts (pictured) were lovely.

Hip happening dim sum and upscale Chinese food. Great service and consistent kitchen. Highly recommend and get reservation to ensure that you get a spot.

Our long-planned visit to the renowned Yauatcha in London turned out to be an absolute stroke of luck. As soon as we entered we were overwhelmed by the sensational interior of the restaurant. The combination of modern design and traditional elements creates an inviting atmosphere that invites you to linger. What particularly impressed us was the skilful combination of casual dining and sophisticated cuisine. The selection of dishes was varied and offered something for every taste. From the classic dim sums to creative fusion dishes - every single dish impressed with its freshness, variety of flavors and aesthetic presentation.Of particular note are the dim sums, which are undoubtedly some of the best we have ever tried. Tender meat, aromatic fillings and wafer-thin dough – every bite was a pleasure for the senses. The service at Yauatcha was equally remarkable. The staff was attentive, friendly and competent. They were happy to give us recommendations and ensured that our visit was an unforgettable experience.Overall, we were very impressed with our visit to Yauatcha. For anyone looking for a first-class dining experience combined with sensational decor and casual dining, Yauatcha is undoubtedly the perfect choice. We can't wait to return and explore more of their fascinating cuisine.

Dim sum was delicious. The mixed platter was both beautifully presented and tasty. Service was great. The seating was a bit cramped for the 8 of us. Also the long table was a bit small as we had lots of dim sum and small plates. Noodles a bit too oily. A great experience. Not try the patisserie but it looked amazing.

One of a kind experience. Excellent dim sims, nice duck pancake experience. Negative notes: music too loud and the waitress asking you every 5 minutes if you want to order something else (despite having already ordered many courses).

My anniversary dinner at this restaurant fell very short of expectations. Despite notifying them and requesting a nice table, we were seated in a corner near the stairs, and the waitress declined our request to move tables and didn’t even check availabilities. The food, unfortunately, was poor for the price. Not the anniversary experience we had hoped for. Would not recommend.
