Overall, very disappointing. Service was pretty terrible - three times we had someone else’s food brought to our table. When this was realised, the staff shouted at each other from our table to the service counter to resolve this. Main server was not friendly and gave the distinct impression of not wanting to be there.Their margins must be massive - because their food portions were meagre, with hero ingredients (eg halloumi) all but missing from the dish I ordered.Decor is dated.App offered recommendations of adding elements (eg toast), that there was then no function in the app to add. Requests in the notes sections were ignored. The app also automatically applied a tip before I had even been engaged by a member of staff, or seen food. Thankfully I spotted this and removed it, because the service and quality of food was definitely not deserving. In the positive, the coffee was fine. The lady who I assume was the manager was friendly… but seems she has front and back end staffing issues.

Service so bad that I don’t even want to elaborate further. Don’t even ask me to e-mail your customer reviews team because I said what needed to be said.

Was given a voucher for my birthday and went there with my daughter. The place was dirty ,the staff didn't clean our table I did . Our table was 2 tables pushed together and our cake stand slipped between them so we lost some of our cakes and staff didn't offer to replace them, when we picked up the stuff from the floor I found a dirty knife left there which was covered in hair and fluff so it had been there ages. No jam with our scones only marmalade and when we asked for some they said they didn't have any. So disappointed will never go there again or recommend.

We arranged this location as it was convenient for a meet up between a group that hadn’t had a chance to get together since pre-Covid. The staff were pretty disinterested in providing any service. It took ages for them to clear the table from previous customers and didn’t give much attention to seating arrangements to accommodate a wheelchair. Food was average, tea was weak and the pot only provided for one cup of tea, which is unusual for a cream/ afternoon tea. Toilet facilities were non too clean. I would not recommend.

Good coffee, good cakes, should have more decorations to have a more cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Chairs were stained abit and tables shoukd be wiped more. Babyccino should be 100% throthed but we found it has only had a thin layer on top and rest was just hot milk and some cocoa powder. Cheesecake was really good.

Turned up at 5.10pm for an afternoon tea and they said they stopped serving them at 5pm even though they don’t shut until 7pm and they have all the items there they could have easily made one up.No wonder they’re closing their shops and going out of business.

VERY rude staff and the cake we got for our daughter's birthday celebration was extremely dry. The £45 cake tasted like a £3 supermarket cake, clearly it was stale!

It's no wonder all these cafes are shutting. I just went in, sat down, waited... Waited... Waited... New customers came in and got served immeditaely. I'm a disabled woman. Clearly I didn't fit their image.

I ordered a drink and whilst waiting (ages whilst the two girls were having a chat) noticed how filthy behind the counter was. When she opened the fridge it looked like a health hazard. The girl making my drink coughed into her hand several times before and whilst making my drink without washing her hands and proceeded to put my drink on the counter without a word or even eye contact. I left it there as I couldn't stomach it after seeing what I had seen in relation to hygiene and food safety standards.

Service ok, food awful - avocado on toast with a poached egg, sausage and coffee. Oh how bad this was. The avo on toast was ok, though unseasoned. The egg however was rock hard and the sausage arrived sliced into thin slices like 10p pieces which was just strange. I asked for them to bring me a normal one, and to make a fresh egg. The second egg arrived exactly the same and the new sausage looked and tasted like it had been cooked in a microwave. Coffee never arrived despite asking twice. I left the food after 2 bites and just asked for a refund. I’d give 1 star but they refunded without issue and seemed like they at least wanted to be helpful. Never again.

We were looking forward to a hot chocolate and cake with the kids but the place was so filthy we left and went elsewhere (all the tables). Staff came by to get empty cups looked completely disinterested and didn’t pick up on the need to clean which is why we left. Pity as it is a great location and the idea is good , but the execution is awful.

Thursday noon.Outside in big letters: ALL DAY BRUNCHInside: We don’t do brunch. At all.PS: 2 months later, Now they do brunch, but: the poached egg is absolutely cold and hard, not runny. Said that’s how the poached egg is supposed to be. The skillet is also dead cold - supposed to be hot.Did not eat this and refused to pay.Never again. Cursed place.
