Staff are lovely polite. Que moves very quickly so don’t be put off to wait. Sweet pastries are really fresh and tasty. I found the salt beef a bit too chewy and there was a bit of a raw smell that put me off. I found the salt beef beigal quite dry even with mustard and pickles. I would go back for some of the sweet pastries and fresh bread x

First time I’ve been here in years, thought I’d pop in for a beigel as I was in the area used to coming here weekly back in the day. I had an egg bagel and smoked salmon bagel both were pretty tasteless and the bagels hard to eat. Don’t think I’ll bother again very disappointed

Cold, very fatty hard salt beef would not recommend!! Also ordered my dad an apple pastry and that was awful too! Do not recommend and don’t understand the hype of this place!! Please avoid!!

The bagel itself was excellent. The meat was a little fatty, and way too much mustard. Not sure I get the hype, but I'd definitely come back for more bagels ?

Very rude staff….customer service is terrible….I was by a woman called ‘Francesca’…..awful attitude, became very aggressive and rude when trying to order. On the flip side the guy working in the back bakery area with lovely…..chatting to us about how much ingredients they use daily. Unfortunately I’ll not be back…..I’ll be going next door next.

Visited for a snack after a street art tour in Shoreditch. At 4pm in the afternoon, there was still a line at Beigel Bake. Don't let that put you off, the line moves fast. I ordered the salt beef beigel, and said yes to mustard and gherkin. The bagel (beigel) though nondescript in appearence was warm and moist, the salt beef slices were generous and tender and the cool gherkin just completed the taste experience. This place is a must visit if you're in Shoreditch. Just thinking about the salt beef makes my mouth water.

As most will know there are 2 Beigel Shops on Brick Lane next door to each other. I have been told by several people that this one is supposedly the 'best' however after several visits to both I would rate this one 3/5 and the other 4/5! Controversial! This one is busier, with worse service and more abrupt staff. Also it does not serve Jam Beigels (where as the other does!). . .also this one is slightly further from my flat!

What a great and delicious little hole in the wall to come across while wandering through the Shoreditch area of London. The long line of people waiting to get in was our first clue and then we saw what people were coming out eating. Oh my! If you are in the area, do not miss their salt beef (corned beef) sandwich on a freshly baked bagel. We also indulged in their almond croissants and if we’d found it sooner than our last day in London, we would have gone back to try other tempting sandwiches and treats. Yum!

We headed for a treat after a trip to the V&A in Bethnal Green. The queue was huge but we knew it was worth it! Once inside the kids loved seeing the guys out back making the beigels as we wound round in the queue. Prices are so reasonable and fillings are traditional and tasty. The ladies serving are very experienced and served quickly and efficiently. Salt beef is perfection! Kids has a savoury beigel each and a sweet chocolate filled one to share. My kids are now in love with Brick Lane beigels and do not want to eat anything else. Try the coconut slice, it is HEAVEN in a paper bag. Cheapest lunch I’ve brought this summer!

Several visits over the last couple of weeks. Top notch food - Begels are perfect - we’ve even bought some to take home. The salt beef is delicious - a proper east end experience. Have to say better than the other one next door.

Probably the best salt beef bagel I’ve EVER had. Absolutely sublime and crammed full. Be prepared to queue for 5 minutes. It’s worth it.

Visited this shop for the first time yesterday afternoon as I was in the area. Was served by a rude older woman with blondish hair who did her best to make me feel uncomfortable. The salt beef beigel with pickle and mustard for which I was charged £6.70, was simple and tasty but due to the poor customer service experience, I won’t be returning.

The best beigels as always. Salt beef, smoked salmon and cream cheese, let's not forget their cheesecake and apple turnovers. It's just all so yummy!!

Went for lunch - fabulous filling of salt beef, mustard & pickle in a fresh seeded beigel. Delicious. Huge queue, so plenty of opportunity to work out what we wanted. It's a real production line so it's a good idea to know exactly what you want before getting to the head of the queue to keep things flowing! Big Hi to Fiona who showed us a photo of the (then) Duke & Duchess of Cambridge when they visited the store.

I don’t get why this place is so hyped, or why there was a queue. I ended up here as a last-minute decision, having heard so many good things about this place. Had to queue for 15 minutes before I could order, staff was rude and my bagel was old and tough and the filling had zero flavour.
