Great day out with my family. This Cafe Rouge has a great location just minutes away from Tower Bridge. Lovely food and service. Definitely it's worth a visit.

Excellent food, service and pricing. Not busy on a Friday morning despite being right across the street from the Tower of London. Hidden gem!

Rarely take time to write reviews, but the rudeness and ignorance experienced today was so bad it was laughable. We are a family of four and after a walk around London, we arrived at Cafe Rouge for some coffee and hot chocolate. We were refused service because all we were ordering was drinks. I was spoken to abruptly and rudely. There are plenty of other businesses in the area to spend your money. Avoid at all costs.

The service was ok and the festive food was quite good. However the drinks prices were a bit misleading as they wacked 12½% service charge on to every drink ! Two out of 3 beers were out of stock which was disappointing.

I had a mixed experience at the restaurant. While Marisa, the waitress, was excellent - attentive, quick, and friendly( 5 stars to her) - there was a confusion regarding my tastecard. A male waiter informed me that the offer doesn't apply for solo diners, which was disappointing. When I sought clarification, the manager was confrontational and loud, telling loudly that I was already explained by male waiter about the offer, insisting that the 2-for-1 deal only applies if I order another main dish instead of the starter - soup I initially wanted. This part of the service was less than satisfactory.

Nice vibe, lovely view if you like boats? Food was lovely, the service was very pleasing. Only two waiters, yet the service was still brilliant, so thanks to Arsenious and his colleague. I would definitely revisit and recommend ??

I've been to a lot of different locations of Cafe Rouge. St Katharine Docks has to be one of the very best. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing!.

Have been eating at this restaurant for several years. Used to be good for a reasonable meal and friendly service. However, I have noticed that the quality of the food and level of service has been declining for the last couple of years. My latest experience was the worst. Will likely not be going back any time soon.

A calamari appetizer and an order of moules were plenty for two for lunch. Was not crazy about the cream white wine sauce, it could use a little more lemon juice, but that would make the cream curdle. Not bad, but better with the additional acidity. The mussels were very cracked like they had been very roughly handled. The mussels were small and slightly overcooked. The calamari was ok, cut into unrecognizable bite-sized chunks. Service was slow, the waiter was at the bar watching videos on his phone. Not a bad experience, but much better options are available close by.

Came by here after rejecting other places nearby. We needed a quick lunch before a walking tour and were running short of time. They happily obliged, checking first with the kitchen, and served the four of us with really good and tasty meals with friendliness and attention to detail in an unhurried and efficient way. We had plenty of time to eat and enjoy, sitting outside in the sunshine, admiring the surroundings. The waitress was really helpful and attentive. Would recommend and would go back again definitely.

We are here for lunch after a visit to the Tower of London. The view from the front is great right onto the dock. Not a bad price point for the standard of food. Kids meals were good quality and the wife had the leek and ham pie which was great. My chicken burger was average and could have been better. They forgot the onion rings but brought them later which the batter tasted strange, weirdly tasted like donuts from Blackpool seaside. Overall happy with the service and the food

Beaitiful location on the marina St Katherines, close to the Tower Bridge. Nice terrace attracted us on a sunny October afternoon. Plenty of empty tables around 3 pm .... Menu looked interesting, we sat down on the typical chairs around a small brasserie-table .... We ordered drinks and a lady brought us those very soon, but then the waiting etc started ? Ordered glass of white wine/Viognier which didn't show up for a long time!! Finally got a dirty glass with lipstick leftovers from another guest on it ? Complained, waiter wanted to pour wine in a new glass... but took the wrong wine bootle ... I was waiting at the bar to have an eye on the behaviour of the waiter and witnessed all of this!! Food was ok, nothing special : pâté with baguette and Cesars salad. Waiting time, service, value for money won't make us return! Dirty toilets are in need of "renovation&cleaning" ?

First ever experience in a cafe rouge. Ordered the grand breakfast which was nice but could have been better. What let it down was I asked for poched eggs and confirmed but got fried. Also one sausage was cut in half, the other had popped and one of the egg yokes were broken and dry. I did enjoy the food but could have got 5 stars.
