On visiting your coffee shop in Commercial Street, Shorditch, East London this afternoon, we were greeted by an extremely rude lady barista who claimed to be the manager; though when checked with another local Costa, found out the manager was a man???? Was shouted at and talked over by this ill mannered represenative of Costa before I could even finish my first question!! What was the issue I hear you ask? The fact that I tried to ask if the toilet had a code for entry as I had a 2 year old baby that needed his nappy changed, I was told to go use a public toilet and that it was disgusting that I walk in off the street expecting to use their toilet even though I pointed out that my wife and baby were fourth in the line waiting to order drinks!!!! If you are struggling to train your staff in basic customer service and communication, I can forward you some details on available courses that would be happy to assist your badly behaved staff. This ruined a rare family day out for us and we are very regular Costa goers but this will put an end to that! Would give this badly run establishment 0 stars if I could.

A small Costa but still well-stocked on the sandwiches and desserts. Staff are normally friendly but this morning I was served by a rude young man, I don't know what his problem was, I thought maybe he just didn't know basic customer service but no, he treated the next customer completely differently.
