Highly recommend this branch of Itsu in Spitalfield. It has many self service terminals. Nice place to sit indoors but on a sunny day it’s just so awesome to hang out with friends in Bishopgate square. Compared to the food prices in Spitalfields which is almost unreasonable (maybe due to inflation) this one has good enough variety and value for money. I love dragon roll sushi ? ? and chicken teriyaki rice bowl ?, miso soup or seafood udon noodles ? dumplings taste nice and fresh too ? . Do try their ginger pickle with sushi. It’s really yum ?

Love all itsu places to be honest but this one seems to be a bit better in terms of the food being hotter. The chicken soup is soo good, and the miso cups are great for a warming drink on the go

edamame was horrible, warm chicken salad ok but lacking flavor

Sushi is good for the price - the self-service tills make it easy to get in and out quickly if in a rush at lunch. There are some tables and, in the Summer, places to sit outside nearby.

TRY HARDERI have eaten at ITSU before and the food is usually ok.This one however was really poor.I got catsu chicken and rice and it was just mash of sauce and rice with some unappetising bits of chicken thrown in !!Every mouthful - you SUFFER.Ironicallly I paid roughly £10 for it (!) but if it was offered free and I wasnt too hungry I'd defo say no.It was ok to FEED A CAT, alas unfit for human consumption. So TRULY PLEASE TRY HARDER.. : (

Good value, appetising Japanese food. Felt like a fast food outlet inside. Thoughtful service when I visited.

Good place for sushi. After 8.30pm and until branch closure (9pm) sushi is offered half price which can be good value for money given the inflationary increases in prices for lunch/ dinner.

Nice sushi, with good prices. Most of the stores closes a bit early for me which I find a bit annoying.

Came in here for lunch a little while back and had the 'classic sushi' box. The sushi was pretty mediocre; the rice didn't feel fantastically fresh, the nori (seaweed) was damp, and I'm pretty sure the meal as a whole gave me an upset stomach (despite not usually having any problems with sushi or seafood).Other menu items might be okay, but the fact that this was such terrible sushi (that made me ill) at a fairly highly-rated branch of a franchise that specialises in sushi isn't a good sign, and makes me think that I'll just avoid all Itsu restaurants in the future.

If you are in a hurry or on a tight budget it is ok. Otherwise go to a proper sushi place.

This is now my go-to place, whenever I visit Shoreditch. Easy to pick out products and pay. The sushi is fresh and always filling.

Miso soup is pretty cheap. Big discounts 30 mins before they close.

I liked it. It's a self service asain restaurant. Reminded me of a MC Donald's a little bit with the seating designs and the ordering machines. So you put your order in via a screen and wait to be called up to collect.

The restaurant was nice and clean. I took one start away because the rolls I have were not on the shelves. :(
