Great record store and a friendly, intimate setting for a gig. Love to be able to see an artist and pick up their record at the same time!

Lovely staff. One guy in particular Ollie really helpful when i came into return a vinyl and swap it for a different. (when u couldn’t find the one i was looking for he went round back and found it!).Really thankful for his helpfulness and patience considering it was live concert and signing event and they were very busy!

There for a gig and signing so didn't really get to look at all the vinyl, cd's, books and T-shirts etc. Exactly the kind of place I could spend a fortune in, and it also has a bar serving hot and cold drinks aswell as beer!

Great record store with fantastic selection of many genres as well as books, coffee and frequent live bands.Helpful staff who know their stuff.

Attended rough trade east recently for a gig, I was with my friend in a wheelchair, the staff were brilliant, very kind and helpful. Really nice small intimate venue for an acoustic gig, fantastic evening.

Lovely gig with a cute bar and great vibes. Only but was the column in the middle and the low stage, which means reduced visibility for the majority of the audience.

For gigs, it's my favourite venue in London - typically for around £15 to £20 you can see world-class bands in an intimate venue, while also getting an album for free. However, the tickets go very fast. As a record shop it's pretty good too (although, as all record shops, new vinyl costs a crazy amount). I'd also note there are a good selection of books and magazines on sale - plus you can get beer on tap and there are also toilets (handy for gigs)

Always a pleasure to browse the records, CDs, which include special editions, box sets etc. interesting book selection new first editions, often signed by the author. Plus a good range of alder books at paragon prices. The music played is wide in its genre, great sound system. You can even sit and chill at the coffee counter.

Great bands on ts and album signings. Great to browse through records and watch bands whilst having a quality ale and a bogey.....with no nonsense security and ticketing! Thnx Rough Trade & DICE In live music we trust!

Used to be 5* and my favourite record store in London but recently something changed. Notice a lot of damaged record covers on the shelves with brand new records (bent corners, whole sleeves being creased, signs of cuts on some sleeves etc). I know they got very busy and popular in the last couple of years but it seems like no one is checking how things are being stored. Seems to be the worst in the pop section. A lot of records sit there with shrink wrap ripped. It's like they're not even new. I mainly rely on their online store these days. But sadly also pick up for online orders became a hassle. It usually was always available the day of or after release date but these days it takes a week or more for them to actually have it in stock and there is never any info about delays unless it's more than a few weeks. Not sure why it's getting like this, suspect staff changes caused it. They are still a great store with a lot of selection but be careful when buying stuff there, always check the records twice before purchase and make sure the prices match when you pay. Really hope it goes back to being great soon.

Recently has become one of my favourite venues for gigs. Small, intimate and well staged, makes for a great venue.Winding your way through the rows of vinyls, you'll find the stage at the back, with space for only a few hundred.Beers, wines and other drinks are available, at the usual London prices.

A Mecca for lovers of vinyl, with a massive range available in this large ground-floor store. All the latest releases as well as the classics. Not cheap, but then LP's aren't these days. Expect to pay £20 to £30 for most records. A nice throwback experience for folks like me of a certain vintage...
