Booked online for 17.30. Was shown to table in dark corner where the lights were not working. I had three kids with me. We were given menus. I firstly ordered drinks. The bar staff were rude, uninterested and inefficient. 10 mins later I went to order food. I was told very bluntly that I could not order food as I had children with me and it was nearly 6pm. This was never mentioned to us at any point until then. The barman then said he will be kicking us out at 6pm!!! No matter what I said replies were policy policy policy and shrugs of shoulders. I asked to see the manager. He was very helpful and sorted it all out and we were allowed to order. The food was served by a lovely lady but food was ok at best, my food was wrong but I just couldn’t be bothered to complain, I just wanted out. My wife ordered another drink….a Guinness Extra cold which was a tap at the bar. We were rudely informed that it wasn’t extra cold and did she still want it. On leaving I went to toilet….no soap, no paper towels and dryer not working…..summed it all up really. Will NEVER go back or use a slug and lettuce again

Liam recommended drinks that would work for me and was very respectful when I said that I was very oblivious to drinking. I will come here again, just because of his service.Vegetarian options: Tasty

My best guess is there is a slug that’s working in the kitchen and a slug that’s also serving us. If good things come to those who wait I can’t imagine ANYTHING is this good.Restaurant is 1/3 full and we waited almost an hour for 3 sandwiches. They were good but DEFINITELY not worth the wait.If you’ve got nothing but time on your hands and an empty stomach… this is the place.

i went here for brunch with my family and for my sisters birthday and even though it was so busy we got amazing table service from Hannah, she made sure we had our drinks and food on time and was absolutely amazing!! working in hospitality i know what it’s like to be in a busy environment and she really has raised the standards! she was welcoming and friendly as soon as we entered, she was very professional and well mannered despite the busy environment the whole time! a big well done to Hannah! she made the evening well worth it, and has made this night very memorable for us. So this is a big thank you to Hannah and we will definitely be visiting again because of her brilliant ability to keep us happy and entertained the entire time!
