We spent some days in London with our kids and had an apartment in Stepney Green. During such days, we loved to eat at the Half Moon. A nice pub with locals and students, good food and beer for a very good price. Very kind staff and super atmosphere. Highly recommended!Kid-friendliness: Kids friendly though they have to leave at 9.00pm (probably due to mandatory prescriptions).

It needs more space for starters. Customer is a bit weird but they can’t help that. Smoking area is top notch. Safe

It's a good spoons, overall with a younger crowd likely from Queen Mary university. Service here is very quick despite it being really busy on the weekends. Food is nothing to right home to but perfect to snack on with a couple drinks. The overall atmosphere is busy and chaotic but it is partly because I went on a Friday evening. I would definitely recommend if you want to just hang out after work .

This was not as the pictures seemed! We really enjoyed it here. Staff were lovely - even seemed happy dare I say! I peculiar mix of clientèle from your old cockney sparras to trendies, parents and lgbtq etc. Was super nice to see. Would absolutely go back there for a cheap afternoon!

Prices of food and drink are great.Nice and spacious, two bars and a beer garden. It's a shame we get moved inside at 11pm by security when it doesn't close untill 12. Other than that, it's really good.Vegetarian options: Basic vegetarian options are available.Wheelchair accessibility: If the beer garden is open, you'll be able to get in. There are no steps, and it leads onto the main street.

We are here right now waiting for our breakfastsIt’s been an hour already and the place is not that busy.It was actually almost empty when we arrived at 10:36.After THREE complaints we had a refund and our food is meant to arrive in a bit. They said they were short or staff when we first asked and then, after seeing how ALL the tables that arrived after us have been served, they obviously recognised that they missed our order.Breakfast is good and cheap and usual.

Considering it's a spoons I'm actually impressed with the quality of some food served here Wednesday to Sunday. Kudos to the chef on those days.I'm a fan of the All day brunch and Curry Thursdays.Service can be slow at times. But ok overall.Atmosphere is questionable at times. Last time I visited I got assaulted by one of the drunk female customers...

From the first visit I was impressed with the good work of the staff, especially the lady from Lithuania. It is a pleasure to always return, fast, professional and efficient.

Again it's a Spoons, so good food and beer at a reasonable price. This one has a nice outdoor courtyard and a bar in a former chapel. Just stopped here for a drink this time but have eaten here and it's been great.

I wish to state I started drinking in this pub before this individual was born!! The problem was simple but became a battle of wills. A member of staff served me a hazy and undrinkable pint of Real Ale. When I complained, he said he didn't understand, so passed it to a colleague. This colleague involved the "rottweiler"(aka Duty Manager) who was rude and aggressive telling me the pint was meant to be hazy. Incorrect, she then changed her tack, saying it was checked that morning, obviously not very well!! In the end, after I told her to just refund it, she patronised me by saying if I ask her nicely(her exact words), she would give me another one. She then stopped halfway through pouring it and sarcastically said, are we going to have a problem with this one too?? Rude and unnecessary but just by our previous exchange, not surprising. This young lady is well out of depth on many fronts and thinks she would be best suited to something, not in the public eye. Love Wetherspoons but only the good ones!!

Cheap beer and grub with a good selection. Very good, hard working and professional managers in Lola and Sophie let down by some of the blokes who are lazy and more into chatting and high fiving each other than customer service...manager needs to get a grip!

It's a spoons so you kind of know what to expect. It's just average food at a good price. The battered fish for me was over done but still edible. I don't really care for a lemon with a fish and chips, but it really could have done with a lemon to help with this issue. The curry sauce was decent. Service is fast and you're in a uni student area so it's normally got a good atmosphere.

The staff were not welcoming at all,no manners no interaction no smile even, the food was not good ordered chips with serloin steak and side salad the salad was disgusting horrible taste and looked like the salad was from the day before,it was limp looking and brown,no chips only on one plate but paid for both told the guy but he could not be give a damm,so asked the girl who served us and said she was sorry but came out 20 mins with a bowl of chips even though we had finished our dinner already.Would definitely never eat here again and not recommend at all.
