Attended this pub with a wheelchair user. Adam was so incredibly helpful and friendly, there was no request that was too much to ask. On leaving the pub he helped to escort us out so that we didn't disrupt or bump the tables. Lovely friendly atmosphere, keep doing what you are doing!

We contacted the pub in advance of attending and the pub as were intending on visiting with a wheelchair user. Adam was hugely helpful in getting all the details we needed from him to ensure we could access the pub and enjoy the event we wanted to attend. Very helpful informative staff, clear communication, went over and above expectations. Friendly and approachable. Highly recomend a visit there.

We came to meet Jessica Rey ( power ranger). One of our group uses a large power chair. We had lots of concerns and asked many question's around access and other requirements. Adam, and the Team were amazing, helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. Adam notified us that Jessica’s was held up and would be a little late. He then helped us to safely leave the venue when we were ready.A huge thank you to Adam and the team.

Used White Lion of Mortimer to host a wake for a family funeral. Adam, Tracey and the Team were amazing. Super helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome and relaxed during a difficult period.

Beautiful old pub but they need to change the lightbulbs. They have energy saving bulbs in every fixture at full blast; I feel like I’m getting a fake tan. Swap half the bulbs for old school warm lighting and turn the other half off to save the energy! It will inject some atmosphere back into the place.

Very pedestrian offerings on tap, feels like a glorified estate pub (which is a shame, given the lovely building). Nice staff though, probably a decent place if you want to watch the footie with like-minded folk.

Been visiting here for years. So much better since it refurbished and no longer a weatherspoons. Great atmosphere especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

Hahaha..bit of an acquired taste. I think it's a difficult place to manage for the put upon staff. Let's just say that the public of Mitcham are challenging. And yet I feel an affinity for the place, not least the local football team. And I've been to their games since 1963!!

Had a few drinks here. Not the first time so I know what the pubs like. There was a party going on with a DJ so made it more lively than it normally is. Staff polite. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Drink prices are good. Cheaper than most pubs.

[1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. [3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
