I’m 32 years old and never been racially profiled before visiting here before. I was denied entry at around 23;30pm despite the bar being anything but busy simply because of the colour of my skin and the decision made by the doorman, even though I hadn’t been drinking and no reason being given for the denial of entry. In fact; other (female) members of our party had been welcomed in, but we were denied simply because of the colour of our skin or our appearance. The doorman refused to give a reason and have been reported to authorities.

Went for Sunday breakfast. Went to order informed no pancakes or muffins so had to reorder. Went to get drinks,no hot chocolate., food arrived bacon sandwich cold. Vegetarian breakfast ok apart from raw cold tomato straight out of the fridge. After receiving our breakfast other customers were informed that they had run out of bread. Certainly not an enjoyable experience and a waste of money.

Rude, Untrained, Belligerant bar staff. Steady but steep decline over the last few years. Best way to get drinks or food is to go upstairs and order on app. At the bar the service is so slow and unfreindly that it is insulting.

This is the best Wetherspoons pub I have been in - nice decor, clean toilets and tables. Drinks and food very cheap - as with all Weatherspoons pubs. I have never eaten at a Weatherspoons pub before but I tried the food here and had Chicken Tikka Massala, which was better than I thought it would be and was actually quite good, but was let down by the garlic nan bread, which was like cardboard, had no garlic but was swimming in butter. The two popadoms were also like cardboard and had no dips with them.

The tables are not getting clean When I asked to clean the table before food was served I was told that they don’t have anything to clean the tables with, Basicaly you eat on top of someone else Mack.

Returned after some time away & boy what a total mess. Three barstaff on a Sunday (4pm) afternoon, bar with dirty plates piled up. Tables filthy & sticky. Bar staff totally unorganised and clearly manager isn't upto the task. Ordered drink on app as first one took an age to get served. After over 10min I went to the soaking wet bar to see one girl with the drink orders strewn over surface fiddling with the orders. Stated I'm awaiting order and was told we're very busy you'll just have to wait. Informed her I've been observing and your not that busy. The two bar staff are but get the others out to serve. Stated get me my order and ill take it now, off she went to continue dithering. There was one small girl retuning drinks to tables obviously new to the job. Two behind the large bar and several "out back" not serving per-se. This wasnt an exceptionally busy period and multiple tables free of customers. Management clearly inept and incapable of running a establishment of this size. The state if tables indicating they hadn't been wiped over between several change of customers. Food was brought to table & lad walked away A: not taking glasses and B: leaving the plates and mess on next table which had been there since we sat down. Unless it dramatically changes I suggest not bothering with this particular Branch of JDW Visit 19/2/2023

Lovely all organic shop/cafe in muswell hill. They serve pastries, panini, coffees and cakes as well as a great selection of organic products for all your needs. The staff is lovely and very knowledgeable. They have a great variety of brands to choose from as well as fresh veggies and bread.

Overall we had a good experience here, the food was good, the staff were friendly and quick and the price was very reasonable.\\n\\nWe have a wheelchair bound child, and found access to be mostly good, there is a lift outside to access the main entrance and there is a lift down to the lower floor, but it does have a table next to is so we had to inconvenience other customers by asking them to temporarily move to leave which was disappointing.... but the disabled loo is the biggest and best equipped I've ever seen or used...it has a full winch, slide bars and everything necessary for any need...but it wasn't as clean as I would have expected which was a shame as the rest of the place seemed spotless, but, unfortunately I had to thoroughly clean the sink before my daughter could use it...so as much as I wanted to give 5 stars I just couldn't, but, we will definitely be returning as customers again as over all it was a very good experience.

Top tier spoons. Huge bar that's totally empty all day and at the busiest time on a Saturday night it's still pretty accessible due to the size. Plenty of outdoor spaces. It's just your standard spoons but in an incredible venue so it's a very nice experience - hence why I bring my laptop here and work all day when the home office gives me cabin fever!

We come here regularly with family. It's our favourite pub & we always order the cod & chip. It's been good so far but the last 2 weeks the cod & chips are over fried & almost burnt. Cutlery was dirty. Didn't enjoy the food. But the beers always taste fantastic.

As a family we have spent hundreds in this place since it opened. Not any more since they refused to refund money which they took from our 20 year old son, who they then claimed was underage. When I attended I was met with a smirking, rolling eyes, aggressive bearded manager who point blank refused to pay back the money. It was only when I created a scene that they seemed to relent. This manager should never be in a customer facing role, he is a rude person who doesn't care about loyal customers. In the end he tried to provoke a fight so that the goons on security would eject me, a previously regular customer. Never again will I or my family srtfoot in there, I will never give this horrible place another penny.

Staff friendly enough. Food adequate. Needs to be more healthy but that’s Wetherspoons! Not a great atmosphere. Better in day. Great ales kept ok. Packed full of kids every night upstairs and even with doorman at weekends loads underage. Most well behaved I have to say. Tables can get left and be sticky and horrid. They do well here as most places around expensive. So if you want cheap you have to put up with things like a guy just next to me fell asleep on a stool! Toilets stunk as well. Daytimes a better experience in my opinion.

Do you know why it is so busy on a Monday night... Because the booze is discounted!!!! New-ish menu is not bad, for the price... The pizza is good. The nachos are great and the chocolate pudding is marvelous. Quick table service through the app so you can order as you go. Fab. Also you can get a half decent bottle of red for .... £7.50! Blimey. Don't forget the steak. Everything now has nutritional values on it too. So you pretend to be healthy

Security staff were very rude one of them verbally assaulted me and came up in my face swore at me - because we were in a group of people just having drinks and standing up and wanted us to move a few steps away from our tables- I paid for drinks to enjoy my time- I did not pay to be sworn at by some security guard who doesn’t have a basic level of respect for others or himself. Security guards here need to learn how talk in a civilised manner not swear and have temper tantrum’s when things don’t go their way.

Always love The Mossy. Unbeatable value in an otherwise expensive area of London. The cooks here are very good-we have always enjoyed good meals here. Great staff too.
