Ordered pizza (mushroom - Tribute to the owner) via Deliveroo. Never again. Cold, hard and burnt pizza arrived.Not impressed at all. Pizza was not edible so had to bin. Trying to call this restaurant is a joke.Nobody ever answers the phone. Out of pocket - do you care...I doubt it. Can't be bothered to attach images as don't see the point really...why send out pizzas in this state to begin with....is there no quality control? Not interested in an insincere generic response either. Tribute to your founder...sounds laughable in my opinion27th MarchUseless response. Deliveroo don't make the pizzas they deliver them and in addition, are not responsible for ensuring your phones are answered. Bottom line is I received a pizza that was not edible and you don't care

Delivery is horrible, what a waste of money. Tastes likes a frozen pizza. This photo is the the garlic bread mozzarella ‘sharer’. Better off going to an independent local pizza place, more affordable and much tastier.

waited two hours for our food as our ticket got “lost”, gave us the wrong food multiple times and wasn’t very good and was lukewarm. i understand it was busy but we got there at 7, they realised our food was lost at 8:30 food came at 9 no time for dessert as we had 3 children who were already so tired. waste of time. and if you reply to this with the same copy and paste reply you give to anyone i wont accept your half arsed apology. we waited ages for horrible food that is over priced and didn’t even get compensated. never coming back.

It is impossible to get hold of someone on the phone to make a slight change on an order, at some point even deliveroo could not get hold of pizza express Muswell Hill on my behalf.I had to come to restaurant to just say “ no anchovies on my salad” please ?

I went to the Muswell Hill branch of Pizza Express tonight with my partner. The man who took our order and was serving us made both of us feel intimidated as he kept on pressurising us when we both wanted to relax and take our time. It was not as though it was near closing time. The staff in general were unfriendly to us. We are a lesbian couple and I don't know if this is why. I also felt that I was stared at by the staff. I like to dress feminine and I have a slightly masculine voice. While we were having our pizza, I heard a member of staff, who was speaking very loudly, shout something to the effect that there are only 2 genders so at the very least they are anti LGBTQ and at worst they were intimating that I was a man which is insulting. Either way it was highly inappropriate. The food itself was fine but we certainly won't be coming back to this restaurant again. To be honest, I was pretty disgusted by the staff. Jessica

Went over there late on a weekday evening and had the nicest service, from the server who welcomed me and took my order, to the manager who came to check if everything was okay. The vibe in there was relaxed and enjoyable. Pizza was excellent as always, pic says it all. Thank you to the great team and the manager (who I believe was called John).

I am a gold member, which meant I got a free bottle of prosecco for my birthday. Our lovely waitress Simay explained that I could choose any bottle of wine if I preferred, which I did as prosecco isn't my favourite. We ordered a bottle of Borolo, which was delicious. We also got free doughballs, large sparkling water, free upgrade to Romana crust and a dolcetti ( got a macchiato and a biscoff cheesecake). Our pizza was a fiorentina and was cooked perfectly. Such a generous deal if you sign up to Pizza Express rewards. Great service from Simay, who really made my birthday lunch special.

The telephone line is never answered at this restaurant which is concerning if you wish to discuss things like allergies etc. it doesn’t matter when you call them they simply never answer their phone.
Sunday lunchtime in a pretty room. Waitress was helpful and food excellent.

Went to Pizza Express Muswell Hill and had the pleasure of being served by a lovely lady named ‘Simay’ - she was delightful and extremely patient when handling the special requests of my mother lol (as well as my two messy kids). Also - Family friendly as they serve children with colouring activity sheet and crayons ?????? I had a sloppy Giuseppe Romana style and it was delicious ! :)Kid-friendliness: Activity sheet and crayons available for children as well as high chairs for younger ones !

This is our local Pizza Express and a long time favourite of ours. However today the extractor fan wasn’t working, and there was a lot of smoke which was unpleasant, numerous people were asking the staff about it. When we got home we realised how badly our clothes smelt of smoke and had to wash them all.
