First time customer.. and it was my worst takeaway experience EVER. I pre-ordered my delivery for 8.30pm. When my food hadn't arrived at 9pm I called to find out where it was. I was told they had lots of orders for 8.30pm but it was on it's way. I received my order at 21.50. Basically if you can only accommodate 10 orders at 8.30pm then restrict the orders you allow to be placed online! The food was oily, barely edible & I will not be ordering from this place again.

Rather disappointing. The crispy lamb had bits of white fat in it and was not crispy. The lemon chicken was thin pieces of rather tough tasteless chicken.

Having lived nearby so long my family and I decided to try the Sunday buffet. At £24 per head, we knew it was very pricey by normal standards but thought, as a one-off, we would satisfy our curiosity. Mistake. The food was scanty with minimal choice, luke warm and even plentiful foodstuff like noodles were replenished by the staff in small platefuls. With 2 soft drinks, a glass of water and a tip, our 3 person bill came to £85 - before the tip! Wasnt worth half the price. Never again. I've never said this before about ANY restaurant but this place does not deserve to be open. AVOID!

Cold buffet food and low on stock. Also charged a service fee without disclosing.

Staff looked miserable. Slow service. Food looked and tasted as if taken out of packet and heated. Worst dining out experience in a very long time. The only positive was the place being clean. Will never

The woman declined to give three chopsticks when three people were eating and also provided an incorrect explanation of the menu.

Food was OK but the service was too slow. We arrived at 6pm and left after 9pm because we had to wait so long. Also my partner had to take his dish home in a doggy bag because by the time it arrived we had to leave! Also, we were charged for a dish we didn't have. When we pointed this out, the extremely rude manager came rushing over insisting we had infact had the dish because a double portion had been placed in one dish! What nonsense. She insisted we pay up, which we did and left.A first and last visit, will never return there again.Very disappointed with the woman's aggressive and stubborn attitude!

Went in to get a takeaway and expectations were high as it is muswell hill, spent £70 for just the basics rice, noodles and chicken balls and a chicken in black bean sauce, could not have been more disappointed, the food was sub standard, the noodles were hard and they didn't even mix the ingredients together just threw the chicken and vegetables on top of the dry noodles, chips were burnt curry sauce had no flavour, I will never get food from here again. Absolutely terrible.

Been a family spot for me and mine for many years now and we've been very happy with it.

The king pi fish with chilli and cashew nut was tough and over fried. The sea spice aubergine was just pieces of aubergine in a non descript tasteless sauce. The only saving grace was the prawns with ginger and spring onion. The total bill including delivery was £43.10 but I was charged£44.60.Won't be ordering on them again.

I have just eaten a quarter of what I can honestly say is the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. I like Lemon Chicken and Special Fried Rice. As you do. Been in Muswell Hill nearly 30 years. What I got was an aniseed/liquorice tasting slime of what I'm not sure was chicken and the Special Fried Rice was a sludge of white rice with a few miniscule prawns. I am really not a writer of bad reviews and intending to cause harm or offence but if Yien continue to serve food like this, word will quickly spread and they will be out of business. Sorry Yien, that was really poor. Staff and service nice but its about the food...

Have used takeaway service. This is THE BEST Chinese food for miles. Highly recommend.

This was hands down one of the best Chinese takeaways I have ever received. It came on time, wasn’t greasy, great portion sizes and delicious. I ordered on deliveroo and we got quarter duck, egg fried rice, chow mien and honey garlic chicken with a side of prawn crackers and it came to £40.I would definitely order again and will be recommending this to my mates 5/5
