Nice friendly cafe with caring pleasant staff. Only complaint is the sourdough dishes are horribly overpriced- £7 for a slice of sourdough with one egg and a small side salad is ridiculous.

I’ve been coming to this coffee shop since it first opened and over the last few visits noticed the service getting colder. Today I was sitting at a table with my wife at the counter ordering and was sternly asked have I ordered by the barista. I replied no and said my wife is at the counter ready the order but again he repeated the question bordering on aggressive. Definitely the final straw, previous times I’ve been pleasant to the workers and met with contempt. A real shame and unfortunately last time I will be visiting.

Great coffee served always with a biscuit! Lovely staff and owner - love seeing people support this place rather than the chain coffee places. Dog friendly and relaxed friendly vibe!

This place feels homely, love coming here. The staff are friendly, the portions and the food are nice, the coffee is brilliant. Love how nice they are to the doggies visiting as well ?

Very picky with our oat flat whites, but happy to say we really enjoyed what we were served here. The French toast was nice but I felt too reliant on the syrup to get it down. The coronation chicken sandwich filler was tasty too, but proportionally out of kilter with the thick, toasted bread. Relaxing environment for an afternoon break.

Great tasting coffee, some pricy snacks but well worth it for the quality.Open light space, my fave is the flat white. If you see me there come and say Hi ?? have a chat.

Great atmosphere and location. The coffee was ok, however as we took decaf maybe it wasn’t as fresh as the typical blend.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, easy for a wheelchair.

Absolutely superb cafe and easily the best coffee on the high street. Flat whites are always a firm favourite here. Lovely sandwiches and toasties and the pastries are always fresh and tasty. A big selling point for many is how dog friendly the cafe is. Everyone I know refers to it as “the dog cafe” and there’s always one or two well behaved dogs with their owners.

Coffee good, food good, service very slow. Atmosphere quite nice. Toilets not at all good, grubby.

Comfortable, little café bar in High Street. Accommodating service with good coffee. Limited menu but tasted good.

Excellent local café regularly used by our daughter and baby granddaughter - very friendly comfortable and small child tolerant with baby change!
