I had a proper plate of fish and chips here. Chips are crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The cod is crispy yet not greasy - very impressed by this. The flesh was juicy and flaky too. It comes with mushy peas, tartare sauce, and a salad for around 15 quid.The food alone would've satisfied me, but the service was wonderful too. Very friendly and the food came out quite quickly.If you're craving fish and chips and you're in the area, this is a must try spot.
This is the best place around for Fish and Chips, it’s great quality food and well presented. You can either eat in or take away. If you eat in as I have many times recently the Fish and Chips are served with tartare sauce, lemon, mushy peas and salad quite delicious! Tables are well presented and decor okay well worth a regular visit.

Whilst this is a little pricier than some places, this is by far the best fish and chip shop locally. The cod and chips are perfection, the balsamic dressed side salad, tartar sauce and mushy peas only add to the experience.Simply fantastic.
