On Monday the 11th first went to the Kings Tun, another Wetherspoons pun in Kingston, they had a sewage problem, so headed up to the Watchman, there toilets are discussing, this is how Covid spreads, the staff are incredibly rude including the management. I think it might need a new area manager, as I think both have the same one. The first photo was at 17:45 the last was at 20:33

Food is pretty much the same throughout the chain, but local beers are available, and it had a freaky good atmosphere on a Monday evening!

I ordered Piri piri chicken but it tasted more like herb chicken with a spicy sauce added. Waitress not able to change as she assured me " that's how it comes" Bit disappointed.

Modern Wetherspoons pub built in an old Police station. Comfortable, typical range of beers and reasonable food. Has twice a year beer festival.

As usual, comforting food at reasonable price. Very friendly staff and plenty of space to sit down.

Great service, efficient and friendly staff, great food aswell. I had their steak and jacket potato, which was almost perfect only let down by the cut of the steak however that's not the watchman's nor the fault of delicious animal, that aside, still tasted awesome and still had a great time, just what I needed at 8pm on a Tuesday. I can't really speak too badly about the atmosphere as I really wasn't there that long to witness it in full but everyone was happy and so was I so it really can't be bad at all.

Weatherspoons you know what you're getting.a mixture of students, old people, normal people, the local labourer that's smashed a packet of drugs spending his days wage on the bandit, you get the odd few wearing Adidas lost a stripe being super loud, and staff that just want the shift to end asap.In spite of all of this, you put up with it all because the beers are cheap and it stays open until 12However the staff are very friendly

Me and a friend just spent a lunch, drinks and a bit than 1 hour at a table, when a waiter came over and put a paper saying that the table is reserved at 1pm, this was at 1230pm. I told the waiter, that's fine, we were wrapping up . A few mins later, a manager came over and rudely told us to leave as table now as reserved at 1pm. This was at 12.35 when I checked. I was already putting my coat on by then. I showed him it was 1235. I said the table is reserved at 1pm but he just told us to leave the table now. I don't know if this is normal in Wetherspoons as its a free house and even though I said we were aware that's its reserved 30 mins after, we were wrapping up. Very rude manager and acted like a bouncer! I wanted to ask him went so rude but he walked off very quickly.

A nice place for cheap (but delicious!!) afternoon deal. A small pub classic with a beer is just £6.99.

Delicious food and friendly staff! It's a great place to visit for a satisfying and simple meal with beer that never disappoints ?

For a place to get together recommended. For reasonably priced drinks highly recommended. The food however is absolutely awful. Ordered the baked potato and baked beans and what I was presented was an absolute disgrace.

As always there’s quite a bit to unpack with a Spoons. Getting a chicken wrap with a pint of Leffe for £6.40 is pretty amazing value and the wrap was very good. The service was slow and not very engaging. With no queue and three staff pottering around behind the bar it was a shame to go ignored. It’s nice to have some outside space albeit not in the most glamourous setting and some guy kept spitting on the floor outside. That said the overall offering, quality of drink and food, plus the price point is very good and you can’t complain. The best option in New Malden for a beer which isn’t saying much. A Spoons will always be a Spoons and at least they had customers unlike some nearby venues.

First visit to this pub. Very large and plenty of seats. No car park. Ordered through the app, very fast service. Chip portions are small. The burger I ordered the American classic was very small. No mint sauce. A friendly environment to eat and drink.
