I come here for the quiz nights every Wednesday, very popular and fun! A great selection of beers, the staff are very friendly & definitely a highlight of the place (even though they’ve seemed short staffed recently). Only shortcoming is a tad too overt with promos for the interactive Darts (in my opinion).

Cracking pub, dog friendly, great selection of beers, lovely staff and a nice atmosphere. Skip the spoons next door and give your money to a proper establishment. Darts at the back following a recent renovation is a huge plus.

Pratts is a great pub with absolutely lovely staff who are always kind and welcoming of everyone who comes by. A fab beer garden. Just refurbished too.

Popped in on a Friday evening after a couple of years away.Great beer/cider selection and friendly staff. Loved a bit of live music on a Friday evening and improved since the last time I was here (and I loved it then too).

First night of their new pizza menu and it was incredible!

Good looking pub. Great selection of drinks and a good dj playing some good music. Dog friendly and a good vibe in the place. Some friendly staff behind the bar and everyone in our group had a good night.

I have lived and worked in Streatham for over 5 years. I walk past this bar every day and have been there a few times. I always wanted to celebrate my birthday there. This year I decided to do it and came in to ask how I would do it and details. I was advised that I should send an email. I sent an email requesting a date and time for my event but never received a response. I decided to go there and check if they received it, to my surprise they said no but there was no problem they would book the table in person. The manager responsible on the day confirmed the reservation and that everything was ok for the requested day and time. I was calm and happy to be able to invite my family and friends. People coming from Brazil, Spain and France confirmed their presence. On Wednesday, May 17th, I decided to stop by to ask how I would do with the cake and other details. The manager of the moment opened her laptop to check and with clear words said: I'm sorry but there is no reservation in your name for May 20th. I panicked and insisted that she check it again because it was not possible, again she said in clear words that there was nothing in my name. Obviously I got stressed, obviously I got out of my mind, there were only two days left for my event and everyone was already invited to come to this address. In the end she assured me that she couldn't do anything for me and not even an apology was dry and short "There's nothing I can do for you". Unfortunately didn't get the name of the person who made the reservation for me but I can recognize him but I don't think that will change my utter disappointment and frustration with this establishment. Well, I only had one way out. I called my sister (who is on vacation here to celebrate my birthday) to go with me in search of another place. I received several NO and that it was too late and with many people. Thank God I found a pizzeria and they were super friendly and polite. They reserved a table for 30 people. I don't even want an apology from them, I just hope and wish that no one goes through what I went and think twice before thinking to organize an event with them. Pratts And Payne

Scottish woman working here has no business working in any customer facing role. Teach her some manners or get rid of her.
A nice pub with character but the beers were too warm. We bought a pint of Guinness (extra cold), which wasn't even slightly chilled, and an Estrella which was barely cold.

Friendly pub with a good selection of draft beers. Large enough to have your own space which works well when taking the kids. They have baby change facilities, and high chairs.

Nice pub, fantastic quiz night on a Wednesday!

Pratts was a department store part of the John Lewis Group and was quite upmarket in its day. It was not a 'menswear' store.

It looks really cool from the outside, Art Deco, old antic pubs usually are (now portabello judging by beer offering and signage), Inside the decor lets it down which was a shame, nothing special and quite tired. Lack of lighting. However…..I was there for the rugby, really great atmosphere and it was busy. We had food which was a decent choice and nice enough. Prices I found reasonable on food and drink. The service though was fantastic and made it really for me. Think some investment is needed. I’d return at some point again.
