I often stop for a drink in the Crown after a walk. They have a good house wine and it's local and friendly. Today I had a meal. Was planning on going elsewhere but decide to give it a go though a bit reluctantly, as the menu looks a bit like the Railway in Greenford which I have always found a disappointment. In fact it was nothing like that. The service and the food was really good, and we both said we will eat there again.

Well I thought I’d take my Brother for lunch as it was his 50th Birthday, placed order for Mixed Grill and a Rack of Ribs and a round of drinks. The mixed grill came while I started my lunch I asked where the ribs are. The waiter came back and said the order did not go through. And to add insult to injury they offered him a desert! Quiet frankly this is not good enough, the staff should have been better trained not only at the bar for taking orders but after they delivered the food should have checked to see if everything was ok. It will be a long time before I’ll consider using the Crown in future. ???????

I visited this place today. I bought a beer and it tasted as if they had poured water in it, bought some fíes and when asked the waitress for a plate she made a face. Chairs are old and broken, looks dirty. Service SUCKS and the only two people that were in charge of the place had really bad attitude. I will never come back
