I'm not sure what the management do to the employees here, but everyone is miserable. Plus they locked the toilets a few hours early. I get locking it half hour beforehand...but not 3 hours.

Had a lovely visit to Costa today. The coffee was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. Huge thanks to Stefka for her amazing service—so kind, attentive, and professional. She really made the experience special.

Don't go here late afternoon. Jam packed by families and kids, many of whom don't even buy anything. Really noisy and no seats left. Not a place for a quiet coffee if you're looking to chill

They frequently don't update Free Beans on the app - too many times for this to be a coincidence. Went in yesterday pm for a coffee, as a regular customer. Their system didn't update yet again, and I didn't query until I was leaving. I was then treated like a shoplifter by the "Manageress" who demanded my receipt before she would retrospectively give me 1 lousy bean (lesson being make sure you ask for your receipt). Meanwhile all the freeloaders are sat around nursing a bottle of water from Tesco, eating their non-Costa kebabs & using the toilets and free WiFi that I'm subsidising as a paying customer. Very poor customer service indeed

The quality of pastries and muffins is poor. They look stale. Pre-packed sandwiches and toasties are often sitting on a pool of water in the refrigerator so they're usually a no too!
Need more people to work in here. Every time I come for coffee there is 10 people in the queue and it doesn’t move fast enough. Many time just turn around and left without the coffee. Don’t have money to employ more people close the place. As you can’t serve everyone

I was having a coffee with someone while a woman was begging for money. She put a piece of paper in front of my eyes, then she grabbed my phone which was on the table. She lifted the paper for several times very close to me, then back on the table. It was too late when i realised she was stealing my phone. Unfortunately, i was not the first case and the staff was so indifferent to me, saying just: you have to report to the police. I mean, I understand the staff is busy, but as they could know this person was stealing, doing exactly the same thing before, they remained very calm to it.Please pay attention when you are having your next coffee there!

Overall, a good place in the heart of Northwood. Service is mostly good however, coffee is a bit hit or miss depending on the barista. A dependable choice next to the Northwood station.
