Absolutely phenomenal! Dining at Shemul was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable meal.Every dish we tried was a burst of flavors, showcasing the rich and diverse culinary traditions of India. The samosas were perfectly crispy with a delightful blend of spices, and the butter chicken was a heavenly mix of creamy and tangy goodness. The naan was fresh and fluffy, ideal for scooping up the delicious sauces. One standout was the lamb biryani – fragrant rice cooked to perfection with tender, succulent pieces of lamb and an aromatic blend of spices. Each bite was a harmonious explosion of taste that left us craving more. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations. Their hospitality truly enhanced the dining experience. For dessert, the gulab jamun was the perfect sweet ending – soft, syrupy, and utterly indulgent.Overall, Shemul is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in authentic and mouthwatering Indian cuisine. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their delectable offerings. Highly recommended!

Restaurant is quiet and I will never understand why. Its a very pleasant and clean place - table well laid out with white tablecloths etc. Only minus point were the plastic flowers on the table. The food is really excellent. The portions were good. The staff were very accommodating us with their curriesThe staff are very good and professional.Would recommend this place highly. I would certainly be returning.

Never had a bad meal here. Family run and the food is always amazing

Their menu offers a starter, main, side, rice and Naan for £12.95 on a Tuesday evening. It is clearly printed. We went there on that basis. When the bill came it was priced at £15.95. I complained and was told that due to inflation it had gone up. They agreed their menu still showed £12.95. The food was average. Service was good, if a bit slow, but because of their rip off we did not leave a tip and will not be going back.

We had a takeaway from Shemul one Saturday night. I was surprised how quiet the restaurant was. I had to wait a little while for the food. The quality of the food was very good though, service was friendly and prices were reasonable.

The food is good here, quality and price is excellent and delivered by a friendly driver. All the dishes we've had taste different as they should and are well flavoured. The meat quality is very good. One thing I would like is an ability to add chicken or lamb tikka as an option to all of your curry dishes so I could choose say a Chicken Tikka Dhansak or a Lamb Tikka Bhuna. That would be an improvement in my opinion
