My absolute favourite coffee shop, I live locally and I always come here whenever I can because the coffee and cakes, are incredible, I always get an Americano here because they are the best I have tasted, and I once had a blueberry tart here with a friend and we both loved it. Mrs Marjan is super nice and always recognises customers, super nice place and a great addition to Northwood highstreet.

This is a horrible restaurant. Surprised at the expense when the food was low rate and the staff wasn’t friendly and quite rude.£26 for chicken curry and the rice was so overcooked, and the chicken curry tasted more like tomato soup. I had the same meal last year and it was really tasty, it seems this year they’ve stepped down.The toast was also horrible which I can’t fathom how you can screw up something as simple as toast.And the accessibility to the bathroom was bad, being disabled, it was very difficult.

I have given 1 as 0 isn’t an option. Terrible, grubby, disgusting place with rude staff. I went in to show them the video of the wasp on food as they hadn’t dealt with original complaint! Still rude from one particular staff member of staff. They don’t know anything about proper customer service, etiquette and civility. I understand that you can’t help that wasps can fly into foo but the fact they thought my daughter lied and they still haven’t apologised for their rude response on both occasions.

Worst breakfast experience I have ever had in the local area.I visited here with a friend recently. Staff in the cafe appeared rude, indifferent, and generally disinterested.I ordered the smoked salmon on toast with avocado and egg. Order arrives and the for most part the meal was sub standard. In particular, the smoked salmon was rubbery and tasted off.When I raised this with management, They did not seem to care or address the issue and proceeded to charge me for the meal.I will never visit again.

We then had to find her and express how unhappy we was and she said she has other things to do. All of the staff have a shocking attitude and give you dirty looks. Avoid at all costs. And the food was bland.

The Village Restaurant is a nice little place to get away from the tedium of all the boring big chains that seem to dominate every high street.It's a 'Ma and Pa' establishment as they say in the US and fully deserves to be supported. Good range of beverages and hot breakfasts available with lovely hard working table staff.

Had lunch in Vilage Express. A little cold inside sitting near the door. Had hot food which took quite a while to be served. However the food was very good quality and reasonably priced.

My daughter and I were made to feel uncomfortable by the staff. I ordered a milkshake and coffee and sat down. 2 of the staff looked at us and laughed to themselves (I didn't know what they were saying as they weren't speaking in a language I understand). The milkshake was expensive and poor quality. The coffee tasted like instant despite not being instant coffee.
