exceptional little cafe! perfectly made toastie, americano, and warmed up bread butter muffin to die for. lovely atmospheric music, not loud. and quick, efficient, friendly service. best first experience I've had in a cafe for a while! 10/10

It's a nice cafe, but it's so misleading with all the photos of brunch foods like Turkish eggs and bacon etc. The last time I went roughly a year ago all they had was toasties on offer...

Great little speciality coffee shop with personal service. Delicious coffee and sweet & savoury options. The lady who owns it is very friendly and remembers your order. The interior is very industrial/reminded me of school with the chairs etc and there’s an outside area which is perfect in good weather. Love the plant selection too. Best coffee in East Village!!Vegetarian options: Sweet & savoury veggie optionsKid-friendliness: Seems family friendly with high chairs available

came here not too long ago so i'm not sure if they've just become temporarily closed or didn't update google. anyways i got an iced americano and it was tiny for the price! also charging extra for an iced drink was a bit weird. was excited to try square mile coffee but the price compared to the size is very off putting so i don't think i will go again. i saw clear iced cups which were bigger (and makes sense since the ice will take up more room, meaning a hot-drink cup won't make sense!) and not sure why they weren't using it. the coffee was tasty but it was all gone in a few sips

Just had an oat latte but I much prefer the quietness of this place than down the other coffee shop down the walkway

Cute spot with nice music, but I think really overpriced for what it is. I got an iced matcha and it was so tiny (used my hand for reference). Also got charged £0.50 for adding the ice.. i never got charged for ice before. So i paid £4,3 in the end for the smallest drink ever. For reference, i recently got a iced match with rose syrup (second picture) in shoreditch, an argubly more expensive place, for £5.5 and it was huge and delcious. Also got a leek & feta pastry which was meh, okay but kinda dry. Would probably not visit again.
One of the best coffee i had visited, they have chocolate Croissant i really like it Thank u so much for your kindness welcoming ???

Lovely coffee and pies. Would be good if they kept their opening hours/ days up to date as I make a special trip from Walthamstow to come here!

Always have a great experience at Hand, personal favourites of the leek and feta toastie and the beans and eggs. Coffee is great too.Staff are always friendly, and service is quick. Would love it if you could find away to open at the weekends again!!

Coffee beautifully extracted by a super friendly Barista that knew how to extract a good espresso. Beans from Square Mile coffee roasters, so you get top quality.Pastries where delicious, I had a lovely leek and feta, and leek and tahini filo pie.

Hand Cafe's customer service is amazing! It is obvious that the staff like what they do. Staff took the time to speak with me and other customers, their passion/kindness is contagious :) I had one of the best coffees that I have ever had at Hand Cafe. The pastries did not call out to me personally but after looking at the pictures here on TA I look forward to going back and ordering breakfast from them.
