I visited The Buff last night for the first time - and what can I say?! This is definitely somewhere that you should visit if you’re looking for a nice night out. It’s busy, friendly, reasonably priced. The music is great, the food is AMAZING but the best thing by far is the exceptionally high level of customer service from every single member of staff I came across at this pub. I cannot fault a single thing from my time here & can’t wait to come back!! Huge thank you to Leanne for going above and beyond last night x

A home from home. I always feel very welcome here. The staff are friendly, polite, happy and eager to ensure every visit is enjoyable. The pub has a real local feel with a vast mix of customers all engaging with eachother - it's a true community pub. The food is great value and delicious, and I have always enjoyed my meals and have no complaints.

Popped in with my husband for a quick drink and after seeing the delicious menu decided to stay for a bite to eat too, which didn’t disappoint was Delicious. Staff were really friendly & service was great, will definatley be visiting again.

Myself and my husband visited on Sunday and I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection (I had the roast dinner and roast potatoes was as good as your own so v happy!). The bar staff was really friendly and a lovely atmosphere in the pub. Place was also spotless. Can’t wait to go back, taking the family next time. 10/10.

Food was amazing, and so were the drinks. I highly recommend the bbq chicken burger with the onion rings and a diet coke with rum. The bartenders and the waiting staff are very friendly and lots of fun to be around. Was there last Friday night, was able to play darts with my friends. The staff were able to help us with the darts. Overall lots of fun, had a great time, with good food and amazing drinks.

I came in today on my lunch break and had a cracking lunch at such good value. A super tasty Steak and Cheese Sandwich with chips and a pint for just £8.99. The bar made Kelly was brilliant she made my visit very enjoyable. I will be definitely be returning
Been going there for years, visited NOVEMBER 2023 after a break. It was empty, furniture made me leave after one drink, years of ground in dirt was repulsive ? Bar staff weren’t very friendly ? manager gave the impression he was very inexperienced. The last manager always gave a warm welcome to every customer and she worked very hard to accommodate individual needs. It was always buzzing with a very friendly atmosphere.We had planned on having lunch and relaxing in our once friendly local pub. Sadly we won’t be returning, till they at least replaced the furniture and the manager understands his job isn’t to prop up the bar and chat with the bar staff.When you get customers in you earn more profit.

Came in last Friday and it was very busy. Nearly every table was full in the restaurant area and bar however Leanne kindly asked a table of 2 to slide across to another table so our table of 4 could be seated together. Kelly was extremely attentive and between them both they made sure the restaurant area was kept clean and tidy after every customer and that everyone was being looked after. Credit to them both for working well as a team on what was clearly a very busy evening.

My experience at the buff was superb. Food was really good and came very quickly. All the staff were really lovely and helpful. My friends ordered the three plates which was a fantastic deal and I loved the beef burger. Desserts were even better!
