Omg what can I say a massive thank you to Sam and all the staff .mother's day meal was amazing . So much choice .there was plenty of it and it was hot . The pudding also was amazing . I definitely recommend eating here especially the roast dinners . I had fish pie . And rhubarb crumble with custard 10/10 . The staff are very helpful polite there was mother's day colouring in pictures for young and old . Will definitely be returning and recommending it to my family friends ?Vegetarian options: Plenty for me as I don't eat meat yummy menu

I often come to the Five Bells when in town for a nice Sunday lunch and they never disappoint! Generous portions packed full of flavour, Kind and friendly staff, Not too overpriced. 100% recommend ?

We stopped here for a last minute Sunday lunch and they squeezed us (and the dog!) in. One of the best pub roasts I’ve had in ages, had the gammon because they had run out of other meats and even though that wouldn’t be my usual choice I really enjoyed it! The veg sides were stellar and also amazing desserts too!

We went on Sunday evening with our Son, daughter in law and 2 granddaughters, 5 of us had roasts absolutely delicious plenty of meat which was cooked superbly nothing was dry, vegetable selection was cooked perfectly, Yorkshire pudding light and crispy, star of the show the roast potatoes wow! Our youngest granddaughter had sausages and enjoyed being able to pick the various components. The only thing we would have liked to make it even more perfect would be cauliflower cheese! All in all fabulous we will definitely be back.Parking: There is parking alongside the pub in designated bays, and in the road opposite.Kid-friendliness: The children were made very welcome and the children's menu was well thought out with choices in each section.

Very friendly atmosphere. Excellent food, good selection from a light lunch to a big meal. Clean toilets. Will definitely visit again.

Went here after visiting a pumpkin farm. Staff were accommodating and flexible. We liked that they have a kids menu that is reasonably priced and the garden was great for our party's group of toddlers..

Visited on Saturday afternoon for lunch, pub was almost empty but service was still relatively slow. The food was quite average for the price charged, served on cold plates, small portions, & expensive side orders. The best part of the meal was dessert, the lemon tart was very tasty, but charged extra 75p for ice cream with it. Tbh not sure I would rush back to eat there again in a hurry. Disappointing visit.

Been past this pub a lot but the first time I've gone in it. Lovely meal, efficient and friendly staff. I had the scampi and my friend the chilli con carne. Waffle with cream and chocolate sauce and my friend had ice cream for dessert. The scampi was very nice and I had a taste of the chilli con carne which I'll definitely have on our next visit. My friend said it was the best he'd ever tasted.Parking: Parking is at the side of the pub, but recommend backing in because it's a bit dodgy reversing out into the narrow main road.

went their Saturday, very disappointed as no draft beer or lagers, obviously not their fault but at least drop the very expensive prices of bottled larger and cider. My apologies for this post, I was posting on an other pub, was down there last sunday and had a great time with some old friends.

I have lived in the area for over 12 years and never been in. Went today for the beer and cider festival. Very impressed. The young chap in the outside was very attentive. Will be back.

It's okay for a pub last minute stop. I hope to return and explore more.
