Absolute gem! Went on a busy Sunday but despite this, service and food was spot on. Lots of choice, gluten free and vegetarian options, didn’t wait long, good quality ingredients and friendly attentive staff.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free / vegetarianKid-friendliness: Lots of families eating there

This was our first and last visit to the Walnuts Petts Wood. We got a table fairly quickly but then had a long wait to order and eventually asked to place our order. Food tasty but before we had finished eating or drinking the staff came to clear our plates and mugs. This happened on 3 occasions. We told the staff they would have to wait until we had finished. We felt we were being rushed and it wasn’t at all relaxing. We won’t be returning.

Food was a bit disappointing this time. Service was OK. Christmas drinks over priced.

An absolute Gem in the heart of Pettswood, loved the atmosphere, felt welcomed right away. Amazing waitresses and staff. The food was cooked beautifully and it was by far the best English Breakfast Ive ever had. The quality of the food was high standard, you can tell they source freshly. Chef even came and checked in on myself and family to make sure we were ok, waitresses were fast! Great place to eat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We went for coffee and a snack mid week. The coffee was good and hot although the large wasn't that large but no more expensive than similar places. The staff are young and friendly but the coffee did take some time to come i.e after the food which was delivered quickly. We ordered Avocado on toast which was tasty and generously spread and not unreasonable at about £8 for 2 slices as avocados are expensive. There is piped music which added to the acoustics of fellow patrons produces a noise level of about 90 db which is not good for a quiet conversation or reading. So if you like busy bustling cafes and don't mind paying full price for food go to Walnuts. They have a loyalty card but only give you one stamp per visit not per drink which seems a bit mean. There are quieter and better value cafes in Petts Wood. It depends what you want.

Food is great, but to get it is different story. Had to wait over an hour for someone to come get our order, another hour to get food, and again bill - even considered getting up and leaving just to see if that might make them move - should've done that ?Not going back - don't have all day for breakfast.
