Wimpy is a legend of the highstreet and holds many childhood memories, nice food and good choice but is not cheap, street parking available right outside the restaurant.

I haven't been to a Wimpy for about 40 years, so it was a real "blast from the past" and very nostalgic. The burger, chips, hash browns and hot chocolate were good quality and the service was friendly and welcoming. I am a child of the 60s/70s and remember having Wimpy and chips with a choice of ketchup or French mustard ?. My only criticism would be that the decor could do with refreshing.
