The owner doesn’t let you try new flavours so even though my children want to try new flavours which we will be buying it’s a straight refusal. One of my children dropped a spoon in the past and asking for a new one was like the end of the world. If you do eat icecream here with your kids I suggest you take spare spoons and napkins from home and take the kids water bottles as even getting a glass of water was considered a big deal.

Went there before 9pm to sit and have ice-cream. I asked very politely if my family and I can eat in as chairs were up. The old bald guy said no as they don't allow after 9pm. I said its 5 minutes to 9pm and he said no.I said I'm a regular customer and pleaded to which he said have you come here to argue. I said I'm not arguing I'm having a polite conversation. I said OK I will speak with the owner later. He said he was the Boss (I know he is not). I finally said this isn't the 1st time you stopped people from sitting in before 9pm and I really don't want to to drive to another Baskin which is still very local. He shrugged his shoulders like he does not care.He also said if I let you in, I will have to let others sit, to which I said, all you need to do is keep some chairs up and say to people I was here before 9pm. He then said it takes 2 hours to sanitise(totally fabricated)and when will he get to go home.The owner is a young guy who is nice, his staff member is loosing him customers. I really hope the owner reads this.

I frequently visit this location and come from Watford because it is always an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I walk in, the impeccable service always leaves a lasting impression. Came here with couple friends tonight, for some of us we hardly come just wanted to try it out. You had selection of scoops, me and my friends just wanted to try one of the flavours since it’s looked nice and wanted something unusual. We asked the staff member nicely if we could try small spoon of the flavour (just one flavour) and he kept saying no. We don’t allow this etc. ok fair enough. But if you want business this is not great. We simply wanted something different and as going after many years you’d want to try something new. Simply if we had tried we can recommend to others too. But I think the staff was rude about it. Small thing like that shouldn’t matter.
Love this place. The milkshakes are very filling and delicious. Very good variety of different ice creams. Vey generous with the toppings. Definitely recommend this place for a hot summer day.

As per their timings on Google the store closes at 11pm, we got there at 10:15pm with a family of 5 but we were not allowed to sit and enjoy our dessert. Apparently 9-11pm is takeaways only, this sounds like lazy staff who dont want to clean up after. Does not mention anywhere about 9-11pm being takeaway only, not online or anywhere in their store. Please bare in mind, families sometimes don't have dessert at restaurants because they want go to a dessert parlour to enjoy the experience after their dinner, but after today I will not be visiting this B&R.We got 1 scoop of ice cream and the ice creams started to melt within a minute.Great flavours as always, however poor service

I've been there every month for a few years. Never been disappointed! Ice-cream, birthday cakes, milkshake - all is always delicious. I like very much the owner who is always smiling and kind. I can highly recommend that branch!

Been to many BR branches and many ice cream shops all over the world. This is the first place which does not let you sample at all, and you are told this in a very rude way. Very unprofessional, including the staff attire. Very bad look for a BR franchise.
