Lovely local place. Nice atmosphere, good service, comfy seating and good range of drinks. Better than average local pub

Beautyful place with cozy atmosphere. We loved this place. All old fellows get together and chat with a glass of beer.

I stopped going to this pub 2 years ago due to a bad experience. My friends and myself go out for a few beers every fortnight. They publicised they were open until 12pm. They decided to announce last orders at 11pm and proceeded to ask us to leave shortly after. However, it appeared they were happy for other customers to remain. I didn't appreciate the way we were treated by the staff so haven't returned back into the doors for 2 years. We now go to Wetherspoons where the drinks are 1\2 the price and the service to be much better. I recently hear this pub is experiencing financial troubles.... I wonder why ?

Lovely pub and lovely staff. Not sure why more people don't use it.

This pub used to be my local back in the 1970s!!! I popped in with a few friends to have a pint and was happy to see the pub is still going. The pub is much as I remember, apart from it now has a much bigger beer garden. If you like real ale give this pub a go because the beer is very good. If you are planning a visit I would recommend you check the opening times because they are different from other local pubs.

£5.40 for Lime and Soda!?! Where did the lime come from? Ecuador!?!? More expensive than the Rum and Coke that was ordered!
Friendly relaxed pub with a good selection of red wines.

Nice little place that we happened upon while walking through the area. Saw the delightful backwards D on the lettering outside and had to pop in for a refreshment break, and enjoyed a nice pint of London Pride. Sadly didn't stay too long as we wanted to get back on our trek, but we do have plans to be in the area again at some point in 2023.

Staff are awesome and friendly, and one of them plays the saxophone ?. She's awesome. The garden in the back is huge. It's got a nice vibe there. I do wish they did food, though, but that's no problem.
