Great pub sadly one of the last in Plaistow. Very traditional, great selection of ales, lager etc and top notch pub grub. Love it.

Clean and tidy, my pint be was good, dated decor, dated beer selection. Staff competent and engaging but scruffy.

A great labyrinthine pub with faux beams all over the place. Lovely people having a drink and great staff taking care of everyone. Good beer including a couple of casks on offer. Plenty of space outside welcoming the good weather. There is a wonderful atmosphere in here, pop by for a pint.

Can’t beat this great pub, hasn’t changed for years. Great food, drink and people.

Absolutely superb. Fish and chips like a West end restaurant, a different world to a chip shop or a normal pub. Very friendly as well, it used to be my local, not been in for years. Always was good but now excellent.

Chris Marshall

Good selection of cask beers. Handy for Plaistow tube station. Good service. No food sold, but you can bring your own in from the nearby takeaways.

Lovely little pub in the east end. Holds a lot of history. Genuinely a great atmosphere and helpful staff. Not overly loud so you can genuinely hold good conversations.

I lived in the local area for six years and this was the best pub in easy walking distance. It had a friendly bar staff, nice atmosphere and good snacks. Definitely worth a visit if you want to pop into an east London boozer.
