Went there today (25/22/23) for Christmas lunch. Cannot fault the service hardly any waiting between courses. Staff were attentive and meal was served piping hot. We went last year for Christmas which nice but this a vast improvement . Highly recommended.

The big issue with the bar and restaurant is so easily remedied…the door between hotel and bar area has no dampener on it….it’s impossible to enjoy your time in that area due to a constant (very loud) banging of that door…it’s disgraceful that no one has tried to sort it out…the staff seem oblivious to it…probably got immune to it….shocking stuff.Parking: 15

The food was mediocre. The staff were rude! The manager in particular was rude - rolling his eyes when my friend didn't know the cost of the dishes she ordered, like that was her job. Also gave me attitude when I asked for items missing off my plate - blaming me saying I should have asked for them, when actually the person taking my order didn't properly discuss the options with me, for me to know to ask. They seemed maybe short staffed and stressed, but they were taking the stress out on customers and creating an unpleasant atmosphere. Terrible experience. I won't ever be eating there again.

Half of the menus was unavailable due to delivery issues. The food that did come was over cooked and dry. The lady who served us at the start was very understanding and extremely professional in a different situation. The male waiter who cleared the plates had an awful attitude and was very rude.

Came back to Greenwich and we really wanted to try the festive deal on Groupon . As we were in Greenwich we wanted to give it a go and see if things have changed since last year and wow , what a massive difference . The food was great , the service was good , the server was very stretched but the service was top notch . I am very happy that we came back here .
Staff were nice and the food was decent value particularly if you use their set menu offer. Beefeater can be a bit hit and miss but this is a nice one to have a drink

Visited the restaurant on two consecutive evenings because this restaurant appeared to be the best place to eat on our trip to Woolwich. On the first evening Flavius and his only other member of staff fitted us in for a meal when we turned up without a reservation and they were shirt staffed. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and could not have done more to make our evening any better. The food, drink and general atmosphere was excellent. Because of this we reserved a table for our second evening in Woolwich and Flavius welcomed us in when we arrived and remembered what we ate and drank the previous evening. Both meals/service were excellent and I strongly recommend this restaurant if visiting Woolwich.

Suggested us to review if we liked the experience hence this review. Food met the expectations (nothing left on my plate). Plating exceeded the expectations.

We LOVED our tour at Beefeater gin! For an excellent price, you get a tasting, a tour, food, and an entry and exit cocktail. This is a must do for tourists! Matthew was very knowledgeable and kind. HIGHLY recommend!

Their Google profile says they close at 10pm. Their Tripadvisor profile says they close at 11pm. The correct answer is, they close when they want. We live locally and this was our second visit in a week to Beefeater Woolwich because the first visit was pleasant. We made a booking via their automated system which said they had no table until 9:45pm. As we were waking distance, we waited home from 9pm onwards for our table only to enter and find out they had already closed. The passionately disinterested manager informed us their kitchen closes “around” 9:30pm or as and when convenient for them so call before coming. And that their automated system is not to be relied upon so you must say “speak to someone” twice to speak to a human before coming in. Now that it’s 10pm and most other places are closed, thank you Beefeater Woolwich for the McDonald’s takeout for tonight! Sort out your pathetic booking system!
