I visit this branch regularly and it is one of my favourites. Mainly due to the super welcoming and friendly staff who always have a smile for their customers.The branch is always clean and has a relaxing atmosphere.

Actually i had my expresso coffee every day . The staff are so nice and friendly and always make me feel really welcome. Specially a young beautifulstuff called Brittany i hope i written her name nicely she's always smiling and very helpful ? A great atmosphere for kids plus it’s great value for money. Highly

I usually don’t write reviews but I had too in this case !! One of the best Costa in this area. This is gem of purely. Don’t let the small amount of negative reviews steer you away from this costa. The atmosphere is wonderful. I was helped by two servers called Munna and Sharmin which were 2 of the most lovely, polite and helpful people. Who clearly care about the business. I Only have positive things to say about this place. And the coffees are great as use to be……

I used to come here to study my course in the afternoons and relax almost everyday, it was very relaxing and I enjoyed it very much.I stopped after one staff member decided to refuse me and actually ask me for ID... I'm near my mid 20s... it was asked for quite loud and the whole shop went quiet , I went back once more and thats it. They made a huge deal about even laughing and joking, I was quite annoyed. I go to a different Costa now, I've NEVER had this anywhere else.When I did go back the staff were very untrained. It was 2 guys, they must've had to confirm the coffee order about 6 times and still made it wrong and forgot to give us the food, we had to go up and ask again where he then tried to make me pay again. I recently went back with 2 friends and even they complained the coffee wasn't that good and the hot chocolate was remade twice.Been back after quite a few months. It was a girl and a guy. Both amazing. I left later on because the woman who asked me for ID was back and kept staring at me and i felt uncomfortable to order another drink incase of the same situation, that had never and has never happened to me.Update: went in again, when will i learn. Been 6+ months since i came in and i wanted to try the new coffee. There was a new girl there and the lady who asked my ID still ? the new girl asked for longer tongs because she finds it easier to use and doesnt damage the cakes with them and she was told no.The lady who asked my id put in my coffee order, charged me for the medium without asking what size i wanted - i wanted a small incase i didnt like the drink. I had to later ask what size my coffee was. The new girl looks like shes ready to walk out with how shes being spoken to.I wasnt asked what method i wanted to pay i was just expected to use card and i had brought some spare change to lose but ultimately couldnt.On the plus side she didnt ask my ID ??

This is a great place for a pitstop while charity shopping down the high street. It has been refurbished and now it is a much more pleasant place. Often, machinery and or facilities are broken but its still a solid place for a drink. It’s a Costa, its good.

Remarkably dire service. The barista spotted a friend at the back of the queue and started serving them without even acknowledging the presence of other customers who had been waiting patiently in front for several minutes.

Spacious but cakes and pastries always sold out.If you order from the app, you have to tell them or they forget to print it out.

Too much chunky ice in my caramel frappe and the caramel syrup was small and in one corner.... The workers are still learning but i dont want to pay the price for that

Terrible day at high street costa purley. Rude. Wrong coffee made. Argued back when I complained about it. Spoke to a new young girl worker really badly. Overall the worst costa and used to be my fave the staff need to go: they make it a horrible visit overall. Always getting drinks wrong: or making them badly. I hope that young blonde girl gets a job somehwere that treats her nicely and speaks to her nicely. Horrible place now there. they need to change most the staff members there if you ask me just pure rudeness none are made for a coffee shop job
