“Second visit for the Sunday roast - my mum’s favourite. It is a lovely, really quite traditional pub - used to go here as a boy - with a good range of beers. But the food is a cut above and very reasonably priced. The roasts are very good and fill both the plate and your stomach. Recommended.Vegetarian options: Includes a good range of vegetarian alternatives.”

“Lovely little pub with a really quiet beer garden. A bit of TLC would be nice as the garden feels a little grubby, but nothing a power wash wouldn't sort. Also the parmesan truffle chips only had parmesan on one chip.”

“Sunday lunch. Decent menu choices.Best burger I have eaten in a long time, I had the bacon, cheeseburger. Some places use various reasons to serve up an overcooked burger. I asked for mine to still be moist in the centre, and it was perfect. It is clearly a combination of the quality of the meat and attention to the cooking. My lunch partner had a pizza bianca prosciutto, also perfectly cooked.Service was great, and the atmosphere was fine. Not too noisy.Recommended.”

“I have not eaten here but really like this pub. Service is kind of slow, more staff needed at busy times. Otherwise great atmosphere, I hear the food is good, and coffee refills at your pleasure.”
