One of the better pubs in the area. Good music events. Can be tricky parking but you can normally find a space nearby. Sunday lunch is good value. Large garden and seating area at the rear.

Went there, to watch a group singing, and the staff was very helpful. We had just missed the cutoff for any food and there was nowhere in walking distance to get food. The staff went over and above to help and advised us we could order pizza to be delivered to the

Just eaten a superb roast beef dinner here. Food is excellent hot and everything you could wish for in a roast dinner. I Would highly recommend anyone wanting a great roast dinner on a Sunday. Pub has a great atmosphere lovely staff and customers.
