Had a day in London with my daughter, went to putney wagamamas and the food was really good.

I love Wagamama food, however on this occasion I am disappointed. I ordered the ginger chicken udon. (Takeaway) Although on this occasion the restaurant forgot to put chicken in it. My rating would have been higher had this mistake not been made. It seems to be a bit of a school boy error!Such a shame, I love the food here normally.

The restaurant was not super busy either. Have eaten here before nearly every Fulham home game for the last 3+ years. The food is always good, as you would expect (never had a bad meal). It's the service that really stands out. We are regularly recognised by several members of staff and made to feel very welcome as a result. Always served on time even when kick off is approaching. They even wish us well for each game (we need it !). Outstanding !Thank you everyone at Putney Wagamamas.
The food is the same as any Wagamama but the service here is SUPER bad

We arrived for food around 6pm; the restaurant had around 4-6 people dining. The first table we sat at hasn’t been cleaned so we moved to another and sat down to find the placemat still had writing on and left over drinks on the table.. no excuse really as there was adaquate staff available given the amount of diners.Ordered my usually meal of the beef donburi and it wasn’t nice at all… the meat was fatty and it was really a bowl full of packed down rice in the end…No body came to see us at any point and we paid and left… won’t go back..

Food was much better than usual, thankfully.However, the service was terrible and ruined our experience. Very hard to get anyone's attention to order. I ordered the ginger chicken udon and ate half and asked for the rest as takeaway at the end of the meal. Staff took my plate to be packed. I waited several minutes and finally went to the counter to ask for the box. Our server gave us a blank face, asked what was to be packed, said "oh it must be here somewhere", it wasn't. She acted as though we had never made the request and had no clue what we were talking about. Finally told them not to worry about it and walked out.Wagamama - it doesn't take much to realize a mistake or say you've forgotten something. But playing dumb and uninterested is losing you customers.
