Sadly this restuarant isn't half as good as it used to be, we used to be regular customers but since its decline have been ordering less if at all. This evening the service was diabolical; I telephoned my order in and was told the restuarant was busy so please allow 30mins before collection.I stood around the restuarant for approx 25 extra mins ontop of the 30minute wait and was close to walking out to be honest but persisted. Upon opening my order; I was disappointed to say the least..I'm not sure what's happeing to this place but the service has gone downhill, the already higher than average prices have gone up and the portions seemed to have been reduced and for this reason i cannot recommend nor return. :(

Tried this restaurant for the first time, both my wife and I loved the place, the ambience, the food and the staff. Very polite, informative and kind.Would definitely recommend! They offer halal chicken and beef!

Two people roughly £80. Over charged. And we didn’t drink alcohol, have desert and nor did we order much for mains. If the food was great then, ok but, it wasn’t. Just basic. Not a soul in the restaurant either. We won’t be going back.I don’t mean to be rude and this is the first review I’ve ever done. They seemed quite shocked when I asked for my change.

Had a lovely meal tonight for our anniversary. The service was great and friendly and the food is delicious and you can tell it’s fresh. I can’t recommend the dragon inn enough.

Absolutely great dining experience, much thanks to the attentive warm female manager who ensured that me and my dear friend were satisfied with the food. The Cherry ? Brandy is a must to try.Parking: Parking space outside the restaurant.

Tried this restaurant for the 1st time on a Friday evening expecting it to be busy and tbh when we arrived we were the only ones at the restaurant at 18.45 this in itself should of rang alarm bells. The food was ok and service wasn't bad but the priče was extorionate there was 4 adults and a baby and we had mixed starters half a cripy duck, shared noodles and rice and a main each and the priče was £270 Nd what tipped it off was that the duck never came with Hosin sauce or spring onions etc we had to ask for the sauce... When checking the bill we were charged £3.70p for a small saucer of sauce along with £30 service charge... Never again will we return and bare in mind only 6 alcoholic drinks between us and no deserts so daylight robbery it was....

Went here for a birthday celebration and it was a quiet weekday so we had the place to ourselves. Great service from the hosts and she gave great advice on what to choose.

First time going to this restaurant. Ordered a few items and asked for them all to be brought out at once but this wasn't done - 2 items brought out and then rest after we had finished those. Hot sauce was brought out a long time before the food meaning it was only warm when the food arrived, Food was only OK - not the best I had but not the worst either. Biggest issue was the price - we had 5 items and 4 glasses of diet coke. When the bill arrived was almost £75!. The items had all been inflated in price compared to those on the menu. Diet coke showing as £2 per glass on the menu and charged at £2.95. Spare Ribs £7.50 on the menu charged £10.80 on the bill. Also had cheek to add nearly £9 service charge. When questioned the (I assume) manager said prices had gone up slightly and the waitress should have mentioned this when taking the order - even though she was the one that took the order!. If prices had gone up they should have been changed on the menu. This is deceitful, and they are probably relying on others not checking their bills to query. A new bill was asked for with the prices on the menu and this was over £15 cheaper - showing the prices had not just gone up a bit but in some cases items had increased by almost 50%. Thinking this was a one off - I looked at other reviews as I went to write this one and find that some people were reported the same issue (and same prices differences) 6 months and 1 year ago! No apology as to what they had done. Something needs to be done about this as they are ripping people off.

The lady that served us was so nice. Honestly never had better service. The food was yummy, hot and was served so quickly and they have great prices! The dine in and take away menu are different prices and serve different things but still great choices! For the service you receive it’s definitely worth visiting. Will definitely be going back!

Shocking. Don’t go. Lived in rainham 16 years thought give it a go.Firstly I would like to say the staff are polite and courteous but that where that story ends.Friday night 9 pm completely empty restaurant not a single sole in there, but hey ho that’s not there fault or is it???.’ 1. Plates in table completely covered in dust and debris, politely and apologeticly changed by waiter.2. No heating freezing.3. Used the loo twice no lights, couldn’t be bothered to ask to suggest they turn lights on ladies/ gents.4. Asked for king prawns as we arrived always love a pre starter, burnt to a CRISP YUK but on a positive note they came very quickly.5, salt and pepper ribs soooooooo much salt didn’t eat ‘em.6. Pork chow mein tasteless7. Prawn toast best ever.8. Sweet and sour chicken yuk.9 crispy duck 6 out of 1010 chicken satay 6 out 10.Tried to leave completely unbiased review. As previously stated staff 100% great, they didn’t hesitate to take Off dishes that were not up to. Scratch. Asked staff to itemise bill they questioned why I asked this!Just what I’ve been advised by people who have been there before.Sorry guys, your great people BUT not an amazing visit

Food is okay but be careful with the price especially when dining in we ordered couple items which said £7.50 in menu but when we got our bill each one was £10.80 when we queried this the lady did not like it

It's a shame but thus is the first time I've had to give a 1 star. My reason for this (like quite a few other reviews at this establishment) is the price. Paying in excess of £100 for two people at a restaurant of this calibre is u acceptable. Alot of the reviews with under 3 stars echo my experience. Being offered more than what I asked for, over charged for drinks and felt like I was being hustled. Under the guise of good customer service you then get ripped off. No intention of going back.

On the 3rd September we turned up to celebrate 2 of our daughters birthdays. We didn’t have time to book as we had Just come home from holiday the day before but that was no problem for them they sat us down and nothing was too much trouble. Our grandson has sensory issues and unfortunately.made a mess we explained this to them and said we would clean up. They said let him be and it wasn’t a problem which made us relaxed. They served us to a high professional standard but made us fill like we was at home. The food was amazing so tasty, and presentation was amazing. Can’t big Dragon Inn up enough I promise once you try here nothing else will be good enough.
