On the off chance, called in to get a take away and although v busy was de bed within 20 minutes. The Kuzu Sheesh was excellent, meat tender and well flavoured and a lovely dressing on the salad.

Went with my wife without booking but should have done as it was packed! Amazing food and outstanding service. Wiping the table between courses. Very attentive and friendly staff who didn't seem stressed despite a busy evening. Loved the mixed grill, salad, calamari. It was all devine. Would definitely go again.
Always, always, always great food with great service. If you like to experience real Turkish food, this restaurant should be on your list. I definitely recommend "Katmer" which is a delicious dessert with fresh pistachios and well balanced buttery nutty, crunchy finish. İf you like a baklava you must try this.

Positives- staff were friendly- mixed grill was delicious- restaurant ambience was niceNegatives- the pastry in the baklava was quite tough so much so that we found it hard to cut through with a fork, which is a shame because the filling and the ice cream it came with was really nice- all menu items are quite dear. For example, mixed grill was £23.50, and it was truly a single person sized portion, unlike most Turkish restaurants, which can be quite generous. Hatay don’t do a mixed grill for two, so you’re left having to order two, which means £47 for just the mains if you’re dining out at as a couple. Prices like this can be expected in central london, but not in Raynes Park.- no complimentary bread or sauce, unlike most Turkish restaurants. You do, however, get given bread if you order a starter. Sauces are charged at 50p each, so not breaking the bank, but I’ve never been charged for sauces before at any Turkish restaurant.

Hatay is one of our favourite restaurants. We haven’t been in a while, but as always we received a very warm welcome. The staff are lovely and always look after us very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are thinking it won’t be too long before we visit again.

Delicious food and courteous staff made our experience amazing.On our second visit, we ordered ZENCEFILLI TAVUK (Ginger Chicken) and KARNIYARIK (Stuffed Aubergine), both exceptionally tasty. I particularly recommend trying the chicken. Don't miss the pistachio gelato—it's truly amazing!
