A truly very poor experience from beginning to endThe food took over an hour to be delivered even after I called after 45 minsThe food arrived cold and not of a standard that I have previously

Thursday night, Raka offers a meal deal for £15.95 which is wonderful value for your money. From the moment I walked in, I was taken care of by attentive staff, including Jimmy, who made me feel welcome and took care of me during my visit. The food was gorgeous, in fact, being a big fan of Indian, I would say my meal was easily one of the best Indian meals I have ever had.

I had gone in for a takeaway, when approaching the kitchen, it had smelt of cigarettes as if they were smoking inside. Very unhygienic.

A pleasant experience for all who dine hereA real gem of a find that I will certainly add to my list of good places to visit.Ordered the Batak Desi Duck and LOVED IT,What I also liked about Raka are their dessertsI personally chosen the toffee twilight ice-cream, as well as the pina colada I could easily of gone for the walnut and caramel. tooThe venue has a smart decor, attentive staffVery good value for money thou for some not all, expensiveWill be telling friends to try this place out and I will be back.Have now been back as a group of 14 where the tandoori sea bass was mouthwatering and also solitary several times

We love the food in this place. Very authentic with some of the best prawn dishes I’ve ever tasted, probably have far more takeaways from here then I should!!! ??

The 'good' reviews are fake ; this is one the worst restaurants in England. I have eaten all over the World, and had a huge variety of cuisines - this restaurant is appalling to the point of being disgusting !I can provide you with the details of at least a dozen people who feel the same way.The 'Health and Safety' department and 'Trading Standards' have been made aware.Avoid at all costs - you will regret your visit, I assure you.

Really good night on Easter Monday - food very good and service excellent. They even ran after us after we left our "doggy bag" behind........so quite impressed

So friendly. Delicious food. Will definitely go again when returning to the area. The garlic naan is fabulous, so chewy and fresh.

Interesting unusual and traditional Indian menu. Including venison and duck dishes in non standard presentation, other more standard dishes available. Thursday evening banquet night recommended.

We were looking forward to our curry following so many positive reviews. Overall we were very disappointed - lamb was chewy (not as advertised - melt in the mouth) and canned tomatoes was evidently used. Bombay aloo was bland and over cooked. Naan bread was anemic looking.
