Took my mum for lunch here on her recommendation. Very good food and decent portion sizes. Big menu. The place could do with a bit of TLC but clean. The only thing I didn't like is that it was cash only. Just about had enough.

This café is very nice generally. Some of the staff are friendly and lovely. I’ve had a few not so great experiences there but more good than bad. I would recommend this café to anyone in Collier Row or outer areas looking for something to eat.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available but the food portion we received for our 1 year old was quite a lot, but that’s fine as we were able to put it in a container provided by staff and take it home. My daughter enjoys their food.

I went in there today with my daughter and 2yr old grandson has he doesnt eat chips I asked them if they could do a small portion of plain pasta and the owner refused and said I would have to pay £8 for an adults portion so guess what we got up and left and went 2 minutes down the road to cafe twenty 3 who was happy and very polite to accommodate us and we had a lovely lunch so wont be going back in there again as they had already gave us our drinks we paid for them and left
