The owner of this cafe today shouted and swore at me multiple times and I had customers apologising to me on his behalf! I am a 27 year old woman and when I asked this older man to stop shouting at me he started to shout louder and began to swear at me. It was disgusting! I told my waitress (who I would like to add was absolutely lovely and more helpful than the owner) that my fried egg in my all day breakfast wasn't cooked. She took the food back from me to get it changed after apologising and made no fuss. When it was brought back to me the egg had been changed however the rest of my half eaten food had been reheated. I told her that I wasn't comfortable eating the reheated meat and as a result ended up only eating 1 fried egg and a piece of toast. She took it back to the kitchen staff and let them know. When I went to pay with the owner who was serving at the till, I said I didn't feel I should be paying for my meal that I hardly ate. He then started shouting at me, saying that I made a big issue out of nothing to which I replied I wasn't going to eat a uncooked fried egg or the reheated meat that I received back. I then asked him to please not shout at me and be rude to me as I was only talking to him about an issue. It was then that he starting shouting louder and swearing at me, telling me to f*** off and take my business elsewhere as I wasn't welcome in his cafe. This was all because I sent back an undercooked egg. I am disgusted by the way I was treated by this man. I had customers apologising to me on the owners behalf as I was leaving as he was still shouting at me across the cafe. The saving grace to this cafe was our waitress. (I can't remember her name, but she was an older lady with short blonde hair).

This was such a lovely café, from the moment we sat down to when we left, the staff made us feel welcome, and was very attentive. We both had the full English it cost us £10:95 but it was worth every penny. It was a lovely atmosphere and although very busy in there we didn't have to wait long for our food. It was also very clean. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Highly recommend the spaghetti bolognese and chilli con carne. The food portions were very generous and well priced, food all tasted fresh. Usually quite busy especially at lunch time but that can only be a good thing!Vegetarian options: There were veggie options on the menuKid-friendliness: High chairs are available and space at end for pushchairsWheelchair accessibility: Easy to come in and out of restaurant, connects straight to shopping centre

I come here regularly and always order the vegetable lasagne. It’s always lovely. However on this occasion it tasted off that I couldn’t continue eating it after only having a few bites of it. So I told the waitress. I was offered another but declined as it would have been from the same batch. I went to pay the bill The owner charged me for it even though I hadn’t eaten it. I was told they still had to charge me or they give me £2 off!She went on to say there was nothing wrong with the food as it was the same ingredients they alway use and maybe it was a taste in my mouth! Which was absolutely rude of them to say that! The attitude I was given was disgusting. No apology at all.She would not budge. I did end up paying in the end as I was with my autistic son and didn’t want to cause a fuss in in front of him.I was not happy and told them they were appalling and I will not be coming back and they have lost a customer. I understand if I had eaten most of it and they wanted me to pay for what I had eaten. But I had hadn't eaten it. If I had replaced it with another would they have charged me twice in the bill??! They expected me to pay for something that is off and I hadn’t consumed. Let’s hope I don’t get food poisoning later today. Shame really as my son loves it there as the service and Food is usually good there. I’d give zero stars if I could*Just an update 20 minutes from when I wrote this review.Have just vomited in the toilet.
