Not been to the Harold Wood area before so searched Google for a Wetherspoons in the area and The Harold (wrongly) came up . I first realised it may not be a Wetherspoons as, when we visited at 1pm on a sunny Thursday, it was virtually empty...not like any other Wetherspoons I've been to. Only had a quick drink and no food but it seemed ok. The interior of the pub looked very smart and may have recently been updated. There was also a pool table and a beer garden.

Brighter Days with resident DJ Scott. Well worth a visit. The best DJ playing the best music you will be dancing all night

Absolutely great atmosphere, staff were amazing, friendly & hot!! Who was that hot chicka on the door?!! ??? my sisters & I had the time of our lives....and we have lived long!! ❤️❤️❤️

Heartbreaking to hear of a little boy called Harvey who was electrocuted to death in the garden of this pub.. should be closed forever.So sad RIP young man.

Went here during COVID, it was OK\\nWe didn't know about the previous accident several years ago when we visited.\\nSeems OK, and under new management.\\nSome reviews are still commenting about what happened 3 or 4 years ago under previous owners.
