We waited 20 mins to even be served, then waited another 40 mins to get our starter, which we chased up and asked where this was. We then had to chase up our mains 30 mins later as we had a film booked- which we had already missed a bit of. There were people walking out and having their bills cleared as they never even received their food. The food was lovely once it finally arrived.

I know chefs can be unhappy, but this is ridiculous!We got our order taken by two different waiters. I sympathize towards an understaffed venue, but we waited ONE HOUR for our mains. We let them know we’ve been waiting an hour and the Chef had an attitude towards the server to bringing us the food quicker. Pasta was cold, not well cooked, and my dish was missing an element. My partner mentioned the prawns tasted warmish, so he put them off for fear of food poisoning. Our lunch turned into dinner, literally were there for TWO HOURS of our day just to get horrible food. Definitely not recommend and not coming back. If I could give them a zero if I could!

This was a special day out for me and my little girl. We waited about half an hour for our pizza and salad to arrive. My little girl was given her pizza and at the same time(!) I was told that my salad was not in stock -please choose something else or would I prefer to cancel my meal altogether since my daughter already had her food?!! Whaaaat!? I hastily chose a different type of salad, purely because I thought it could be thrown together quickly. The waitress asked if there was anything else I needed whilst waiting. I asked for some water. This never arrived!!! What service or lack of! Ok, the second salad arrived fairly quickly but my daughter had already finished. I asked if the pizza she had left could be boxed up to take home. At the time of paying the bill, no mention was made of the ordering fiasco or the lack of water, and I was simply handed a box and left to get on with loading in the pizza slices. The restaurant was full of disgruntled customers. Something needs to be done here. I have given two stars because the food was quite nice when it finally arrived. This is a generous rating, as the “oat milk latte” was the most abysmal coffee I’ve ever had. It tasted like an extra strong coffee that had sat brewing on a hob all day with a tiny splash of oat milk. You could not call it a latte.

Had a fantastic meal at Zizzi yesterday. Were out with friends and we all had lovely time. The front of house staff were excellent, so attentive, nothing too much trouble. Got a little complementary snack while waiting. My meal was so nice. The sea bass, I saw the chef ( hard worker, looked like! ) drop it into the pan, cooked to perfection and new potatoes and accompaniments so lovely and hot. Will definitely be going back. Thank you.

We arrived for a birthday surprise dinner that had been booked for weeks. It took more than 20 minutes to be seated in the half full restaurant. We then waited a further 20 minutes for someone to take our drinks orders. Unfortunately no one came. All this time there was still a table of people waiting to be seated who arrived after us.We left and got seated at Nandos straight away and had our drinks and starters with us within 10 minutes of ordering.Really poor from Zizzi

The food wasn’t very hot. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese and it came out so watery and didn’t even have a lot of meat in it. Calamari starter was dry and flavourless. King prawn linguine also came out water and with only 1 prawn in it (defeats the purpose). Overall was very bad. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Must’ve had 8 customers at most, including us. Wouldn’t recommend
Ordered for delivery.Ordered 2 pizzas, 1 gluten free meat lovers, 1 standard Bbq pulled pork and an order of bbq pulled pork fries.When it arrived we had the gluten free pizza, and 2 lots of fries. No regular pizza.Tried to call several times, no answer so had to go through Deliveroo to get the missing pizza money back.That being said, the GF pizza was nice, we ended up sharing it, and even my non GF husband enjoyed it but I think next time, we'll just come in rather then order for delivery

The whole Zizzi experience was excellent! The service was fantastic and helpful and the food was really good. Best pizza I have ever had! I also tried the new black forest dessert which was truly gorgeous. Thank you for the great evening!

We waited from 7 o'clock until 8.30, and finally two plates of cold dishes were served, and then we waited until 9 o'clock for shrimp noodles. There are no other dishes, just noodles and shrimps. I couldn't laugh or cry. All in all, I didn't mind eating it. The service attitude is very bad. No one came up to ask me what I was drinking. what to eat

If you are not in a hurry or just don’t want to be served then this is the place for you! Having waited for 30/40 minutes at our table without being acknowledged let alone asked if we wanted a drink, we walked out. The staff didn’t even seem bothered that we’d walked out, they were too busy looking at all the dirty glasses stacked on the bar and cleaning tables that hadn’t been used.
