What has happened to to the Cafe Rouge chain?! Tried to use the booking system to make a reservation at several different branches only to find that the 'computer says no'. The website booking service is counterproductive and doesn't appear to want to accommodate bookings. It's also impossible to get through to a human member of staff at any branch due to a very un-user friendly automated service. Due to personal accommodation requirements, I need to book rather than just turn up on the day, but none of that seems to have been a consideration for Cafe Rouge customers.

We had a very nice meal and my wife enjoyed the beetroot tartlet starter which was new to the menu. I also tried something new to the menu, the fish and chips which I also enjoyed. For us, pleasant staff have an important bearing on how much a meal is enjoyed. We were well looked after by Victor and Ioana along with the kitchen staff who prepared a nice meal and we also thank Candy who is the manager making it all happen in such a nice way, even on the days when she is not working. Our thanks to you all for the team effort!

We went to Cafe Rouge In Ruislip yesterday evening after having been to the cinema to see "Where The Crawdads Sing". We enjoyed both the movie and our experience at Cafe Rouge hence this review.We tend to go Cafe Rouge in Ruislip for supper when we go to the cinema as it rounds the day off nicely as it did yesterday.Candy, the manager was not on duty last night and having met her on a previous visit, we found her to be very helpful and caring to give a good experience. I called Candy at the restaurant this morning to let her know that we enjoyed our meal last night and were well looked after by Jordan who was great!Thank you Candy for managing the restaurant so well and to Jordan for being so warm and friendly yesterday. A mention must also go to the chef for cooking the fillet steak my wife ordered, so well!Thank you all for the super teamwork that rounded off the day well for us.We look forward to a return visit next Wednesday all being well as we hope to see "Elvis" before heading to your restaurant ?.

Delicious fresh food - Cauliflower steak is amazing & such a delight for a vegan not to be met with no choice other than a burger or tagine on the menu. Best food I’ve had in Cafe Rouge for a while. The team are really lovely and friendly - Candy especially, she’s a joy.

We had an excellent meal last night. We are 3 wheelchair users and nothing was too much trouble for Jorden and Ivan who were most attentive. The steaks were really good but perhaps a little salad could have been presented with the steak rather than having to order as a 'side'. All in all, we would recommend this restaurant for service and cuisine. Well done Cafe Rouge and especially Jorden and Ivan.
I just ordered a Chicken Caesar salad. It arrived covered in lumps of what looked like slimy cheese. When asked the waiter told me it was vegan cheese (in a chicken dish) that replaced Parmesan cheese. It tasted disgusting… so wrong

We had a great time sitting out and watching the world go by drinking cocktails. The manager was exceptional, she ran the pub, took dinner orders. Waited on tables completely on her own and all with a smile.
