We've been three times over past few months and this Harvester is consistently good. The staff are really nice and the chefs actually know what they are doing, no 'bung-in-the-mic' meals here! The pork belly and ribs are cooked for hours and really are exceptional. Prices are good and lots of options for veggies. Highly recommended.

Our server was brilliant, a young lady named Amy D. She was so attentive, extremely professional and courteous, and couldn't do enough for us. More than this, she had a manner and attitude about her that showed she had a real passion for her role. We observed her tending to other diners and she was so, so helpful and polite, assisting with menu choices, checking diners were happy and generally showing how great service should be, happy and bubbly with it. On top of this, the food was wonderful, we could not fault it, so a special mention also to the chef, Tom...? All in all, a wonderful experience. Thank you, Harvester, a great evening out!

Service was not great, felt like the server was insulting me, questioned me on my meal choice , asking me 3 times IfMy partner remarked on how bad his Service was, and how horrible he was being to me. She told me multiple times to just get up and leave, but I felt too rude to walk away. This used to be my favourite restaurant growing up, but I'm not sure if I feel comfortable going back.

Not happy!!! No steak, no chicken skewers, no peas, no soft drinks! Slow service, staff just wandering around. Spilt drinks over table, food was cold when it arrived!!

Very quite and not to busy for a mid week lunch date. We were a walk in on the off chance of a table. We were not disappointed. Polite and courteous servers, thank you Hywell for your service. Food was excellent, we were given sufficient time between lunch and dessert. I would highly recommend The George Harvester in Ruislip.

We went here on Friday 5th August, two families who were camping together nearby, and the service from a waitress called Amy (Amy D I think) was brilliant! One of the group was ‘gluten free’ and Amy spent ages going through the menu to help the lady make safe, gluten free choices. Nothing was too much trouble, from explaining things, to boxing up some of our food.- she was friendly and helpful throughout. The food was excellent too (cooked by Kevin). I have since visited a Harvester near my home, and the service was nowhere near as good, and the food and the whole experience was not as good.

Been visiting for this pub for breakfast for quite sometime, but dnt think so wil do anymore. Not sure about how it is other days during the week but Sunday breakfast definitely seems to be the problem, long wait by reception without being acknowledged , long wait for someone to come and take your order, the manager seems to make you feel that they dont want customers at that time as they are struggling already. The servers are great though, working really hard. The food is good, but the wait is u real .

Although the meals we ordered were very nice the greeting when we walked in was not, ‘can I help’. The salad bar was poor and when we asked for raw onions the managers reply was not available and the same when I asked for the bacon bits. Sauces not replenished. No apologies or politeness just abrupt responses. Definitely put me of going there again where we used to be regular customers

We booked couple hours ahead requesting a booth for Birthday celebration and were pleased to be accommodated after 5 minute wait. However, my annual Birthday reminder email was misleading as did not contain a voucher like other years or make clear there was no offer or discount. However, when I brought to servers attention they offered a free dessert which we shared.

We went there at 2pm pn Monday for lunch. Salad bar was barely refilled. No bread rolls. Staff didn't bother to be at the bar to take orders. Although they weren't busy starter took 35 mins to arrive. Neatly burnt chicken wings. No jacket potato for mains. No draught beers at all. Apparently the signs were at the entrance. Not welcoming at all. One of the members of staff was busy eating and complaining that she's not everyone's mummy to sort their sh*t out. At least have some filters when you know you have guests who are still dining.

We enjoyed our recent visit, food was good and plentiful. Amy made the visit extra pleasant by her jolly banter and impromptu candles in the ice cream when she discovered one of our arty had a birthday.

Server Amy D was very welcoming, good customer service was always checking on customers, food cooked by chef Kevin the food was ok but could be better. Salad bar could have been topped up more and the rolls were little dry.
