Most restaurants these days are considerate of allergies, especially nut allergies. The norm in most being that a small number of dishes are offered with nuts but the majority aren't. Not this place. I would say two thirds of the menu is items made using nuts or nut based marinades etc. Now I'm not talking cross contamination or nut traces! As I have a mild nut allergy, I was pretty much rules out of most of the menu. Everything I asked about contains nuts. What is more annoying is that the items are not marked on the menu as containing nuts. Therefore, ending up ordering items off the menu that I may not have wanted. Luckily for me, the items I had were tasty so while I didn't get what I wanted, what I had was nice. Can't imagine myself visiting again due to all this and the lack of effort to consider allergies and mark it on the menus.

We enjoyed a very good meal in Sarasas last evening with 8 friends having been recommend by those who live locally and have been here often. We were seated in a private dining area & the service was very attentive and quick so I’m surpass today to read reviews that indicate the the contrary. The menu had lots of varied & different choices, especially the chicken dosa which is not often on a standard ‘Indian ’ restaurant menu and was very beautifully spiced. The cauliflower Gobi 65 was excellent . Loved the number of vegetarian choices. We had a very enjoyable evening and would go back.

We wanted order thali, but there was a minium of 3 thali otherwise we couldnt place the order. That was really disappointing. But the food was good staff were nice. ;)

Ordered takeaway only to discover there were items missing when it arrived. Called the restaurant and was told they had checked with the chef and he assured them all items were in the bag so there’s nothing they can do. This is the second time this has happened when ordering from here. Poor customer service. Will not be ordering again.

They always give half plate of all orders and the way of staf mamber is rubbish. miss behaviour with us. We ordered 2 plates.

We had the Veg Kothu, Egg fried rice, Lamb Dosa and Kebabs. We loved the food. I highly highly recommend Lamb Dosa to any dosa lovers. It was absolutely delicious! Our little one loved the Egg Fried Rice and our waiters were super child friendly too.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and Changing Table Available

Disappointing!Went on a Thursday evening with 2 young kids and the restaurant was empty with just 1 more table occupied.Staff was inattentive and unintersted, placing my beer in front of my 6 year old daughter and walking away; and not being apologetic about itMy daughter didn’t make more than half way through her dosa. Request for parcelling with dosa was responded by extra charge if need sambhar. No big deal but really!!!It’s these small things that make you love a place. I hope they can pay more attention to their service standard as their food is generally good

Family favourite.. I can’t recall how many times I’ve dined at Sarasas, in the Hayes & Ruislip locations. The food is just delicious.. often we are so excited by the starters we leave little room for main courses which are equally good. Well stocked bar too!
Yesterday we went there 9:20 the lady staff was very rude with us she told me in 20 minutes kitchen closing and restaurant was empty she give us table near door and we check online it shows 10 o'clock if they don't like to give after 9 o'clock they should change it. Food amazing and services is good.

Went as a birthday treat for a friend, who is something of an expert on Indian food. Food was good, but it arrived at the same time as our starters, 40 minutes after we ordered and it had clearly been under a heat lamp for a while. We also had to ask twice for water. I didn’t want to make a fuss as it was our friend’s Birthday, but should have disputed the service charge which was already added to the bill. In summary, food was great, service not so much.
